You say I'm a ladybug, one with beautiful wings.

There's one thing you must know,

I don't always think so.

You say, "I love you!",

Is this really true?

For a tiny little ladybug like me,

to have one big happy family?

You say I'm as sweet as sugar.

Sometimes, this ladybug drops from the sky,

Even though you've told me to fly.

How can this tiny little flying thing,

Do anything that matters?

You say my spotted pattern's unique,

But others don't always think so.

They say, " You're dumb! You ugly spotted creature, you!'

Sometimes they fly above me.

I know you think that I'm the best,

But what do others see?

Your meaning of true beauty,

Shows from inside out,

You don't care what others think,

for they have only doubt,

and see only for what are looks.

Now I'll smile and soar high,

Even if others say,

"You can't fly!"

You have told me otherwise and now I can see.

True beauty comes from inside out,

That's what should matter to me!

I may be just a tiny little ladybug,

And now and then I'll need a hug.

As long as I'm happy,

You are too.

This is all very true!

This tiny little ladybug me,

Is off to say goodbye.

So now the whole world will see,

Her colors truely fly!
