Tara's P.O.V
This is my life. My parents died almost a year ago in a crash. I was in the backseat. I was wearing a seatbelt and my parents weren't so they ended up dying. I'm 18 turning 19 in a few months. When my parents died I took custody over my little sister, I was old enough so why not? I am a brunette with long wavy hair. My eyes are a violet color. My parents say I am one in a million people to have violet eyes because it is so rare!
I'm taking my little sister sky to to the park to play with her friend mikayla from school. Sky is only six so she is in first grade. I called sky's name and she hopped down the stairs.
"We are going to the park, get some some shoes on" I said to sky
Sky asked me to help her put on her sandals. I did, I grabbed my cell phone,10 dollars for snacks and a sweat shirt and we walked out the door and started our five minute walk to the park.
I heard a blood curdling scream coming from our neighbors house and someone else said something about going to sleep! I grabbed sky's hand and rushed to Mrs.wilkins house. I invited myself in instead of knocking. I rushed upstairs carrying sky in my arms, I opened the door to Mrs. Wilkins room and saw a man in a white sweatshirt with blood stains all over holding a knife to her face! He jumped up and left through the window. I helped her up and called 911.
