Unpredictable Love

Part 1.

It's August 25th, 2014. The first day of school. Great. I try to get out of bed but instead I sat up and fell right on the floor. Typical school morning. I laid there, staring at the blank white ceiling. Why me. Why. Why can't I just be a dog. All they do is sleep, eat and fart. That's the life man.

"Jody what the hell are you doing on the floor?"

And that would be my mom.

"Well mom, I've decided I'm becoming a dog. No school. No drama. No homework. No nothing. I'm going to lay here until you bring me pancakes and then I will go on with my life as a dog."

"Hahaha, well I don't know about that. Being a dog is really hard. You have to lay on the couch all day and bark at every single person that walks by."

"I can do that. It's better than geometry."

"Yes it is, but you don't have a choice. Get up! You have places to go, things to do!" She says as she flicks on the light.

"MY EYES!" I say as I turn to look at my mom. " What have you done."

"Get up!" She says as she walks down the hallway.

Well that certainly made everything better. I got up as I tugged on my bed sheets for support. I made an unhuman sound as I dragged my self to the bathroom. I stood there staring at the shower in hatred. I turned the knobs and got in. When I came out the room was steamy and I was still not even close to being awake. I yet again, dragged myself to my room and put some clothes and make up on. I notice some pancakes on my wood dresser so naturally, I stuffed my face with deliciousness. I checked my white iPhone and noticed it was 8:04 am. School started at 8:10. Shit. I grabbed my jacket, told my mom goodbye, and ran out the door.

Finally. Lunch time! Favorite time of the day. School lunch was gross but I got to hang out with my friends and eat so I say it's a win win situation.

"Jody!!! Oh my god I haven't seen you all day! We have the same lunch together! Yay!" Tatiana said as she approached me in the lunch line.

"Yay! At least we have something together" I said as I turned to face her. Wow her hair was blonde. I mean, it's always been blonde but it's like bleach blonde now.

"Wow nice hair it's so bright!"

"Yeah, needed a change. Anyways, are you excited for Saturday? We are going to see our husbands! It's been like a year since we've seen them! Oh em gee!" She had no idea how excited I was. On the inside I had some hardcore butterflies. And on the outside I was showing that, by jumping up and down and screaming.

"Oh my god yes!!! I am so excited I can't even... Eeeeeeeeeekkkkkk!" I shrieked. I can't even explain the noises I make when I'm this excited. A senior guy named Devon turned around and said " Would you shut the hell up? You don't need to scream at everything"

"Hey, fuck you asshole" I said as I flipped him off and turned back around towards Tatiana. As you can see, I'm very straight forward.

"God I hate him."

"Everyone hates him. Well at least we won't have to deal with that dickface next year." I said as I turned my head and glared at Devon. He turned and glared back.

Another one of my best friends approached us in the lunch line.

"Guys!!! We have the same lunch! Yes! My mom finally gave me my ticket back! God I swear if she would have kept that i would have pulled a gun on her or something" Karissa said as she joined the group. Karissa was a senior along with my best friend hailey. As for Tatiana and I, we were juniors. Eh. It's better than being a freshman.

"Yay! Finally god it's only been all summer that she's kept it." I said as I grabbed my tray and headed for the food.

"I know ugh I hate her. Anyways... Who is driving us to salt lake this weekend?"

"I am. Well since you guys suck at driving I thought you know, it would be safer if we all didn't DIE" Devon looked back and glared at me.

"Hahahahaha shut up."

August 30th, 2014

"Jody! Will you pass me the chips I'm hungry! "

"No fuck off I'm driving why can't you just ask Tatiana? Besides she's holding them! Dipshit."

"Hahahahah fair enough!" Karissa says as she grabs the bag of barbecue chips (my favorite) from Tatiana's hands.

"Hey! I was eating those!"

"Hey! I don't care!"

"Somebody, please help me get through this." I say as I look up and put my hands together so it looks like I'm praying.

"You're just jealous" Karissa said.

"Oh yeah, that's it I'm jealous that you guys are fighting over MY CHIPS. Makes sense." I sarcastically sneered.

We rambled on like this for about an hour. When we finally got there, we were all tired and worn out.

"Well guys its 1:30... Lets get some sleep so we can look gorgeous for our boys tomorrow."
