Chapter 8

Yes it is I. And yes I have risen from the abyss known as writers block and School work. Now onto the apology :
IM SO SO SO SORRY THAT I HAVEN'T UPDATED SOONER SO HERE IS THE NEXT CHAPTER. ps please don't kill me. Also I fixed the last chapter so that it would make sense with this chapter.

Previously on The lost family:
"Kids dinner!" Mom shouted down the hall. "Why don't we tell you over dinner. We are having pizza."

Zoey's POV
Jake, Sarah, Kathy and Madison came running in.
"That smells so good Mrs. Lily," Sarah said.
"Is it what I think it is?" Questioned Jake.
"Homemade PIZZA! YESS!" Madison and Kathy exclaimed high-fiving each other.

I laughed. "Last one to the dining room get the punishment of doom!" And with that we were gone.

I could here mom yelling at us to be careful a I sprinted as fast a I could I turned to take my short cut which was through the bathroom surprisingly and only I knew about this. I went through the two doors down a hallway and was there. I sat down in my spot at the table waiting. Suddenly Jake burst through the entrance. Followed by Kathy and Sarah, Madison trailing behind.

"Yes I win and by the looks of it Zoey is going to be the one receiving the punishment of doom! Haha this is going to be awesome."
It was then that I decided to make my presence known.
"I wouldn't be too sure about that."
They all turned to look at me, shock was written all over there faces. I smiled.
"When did you get here? I never saw you pass me when we were running down here."
"Oh I have my ways. And I have been sitting here for about a minute or two before you came running in. Anyway, Madison it looks like you are on the receiving end of the punishment of doom. "
(A/N: yeah boring name I know but that's the best I can think of right now.)
My mom and Harry came in next carrying a pizza each. "James and Joe went to the store to get a surprise for you guys and Carrie is getting the last pizza out of the oven." Mom answered while she and Harry placed the pizzas on the table.

"Are we waiting for Mr. James and Dad?" Sarah asked.

"Yes Sarah we are going to wait for them. And Harry you can sit in the chair across from Zoey."

"Alright mum." Harry walked around and took the seat across from me. I decided that I had to speak up.

"Harry I love you accent." Kathy said.
'Dang it Kathy beat me to it. Oh well.'

"I must agree with Kathy over there." I commented while reach out for a slice of meat~lovers pizza.

"Zoey we are waiting for everyone else to get here. Wait." Mom said, swatting my hand away from the gooey cheesy and meaty pizza.

I sat back with a huff crossing my arms over my chest. Jake and Sarah started snickering quietly and so I glared at them. Which in turn made Kathy and Madison start snickering. Which led to the whole table to start laughing. Well except for Harry and I. Harry just smiled and I continued to glare at Jake and Sarah. Carrie walked in a moment later carrying a good old fashioned pepperoni pizza.

"Now we just have to wait for dad and Joe to get back." I said gazing longingly at the meat lovers pizza that sat teasingly in front of me. Mocking me.

"Were back and now we can eat." Joe said as he and dad walked through the door.

"FINALLY! That pizza has my name written all over it." I said as I reached out to grab a slice.
