Chapter 6

Chloe's POV:

I saw June's car pull up across the street. I quickly ran over there when my life flashed before my eyes.

I could hear faint voices screaming my name as I was so close to being hit by a grey SUV. I caught my breath as the driver gave me the finger.. Rude.

Kian ran up and gave me a tight hug. "You got to be more careful babe!" She says as I cuddle into his chest.

Then I thought to myself..

I could of died today..

Jordan's POV:

I quickly ran up to Chloe after I realized what just happened. She gave me a hug and I hugged back.

Then June, Trevor, Tiffany, and Sam a came from a across the street. We all walked back to where the investigation was going on.

Then a policeman came up to us. "We found traces of footprints but that's it. It's hard to tell who it belongs to.. We suspect the man or woman who entered this home was wearing gloves because we found no fingerprints."he told us.

"So are you going to look into it?" I ask.

"We'll try, but we can't guarantee anything. For now you guys may go home, get some rest and stop by the police station tomorrow morning." I said clicking his pen, writing something down and ripping the paper off a notepad.

"Here. This will get you straight in. Help you avoid the hassle." He said handing it to me.

"Thanks.." I say looking at the paper. He nods then walks away. I zip up my hoodie from Garage then put my hood on, stuffing the piece of paper into my jean pocket.

"We should go.." I say walking to the car.

"Yeah." They all agree. Then we all get into our cars. I can tell June is pissed off because she drove all this way only to be here for like two minutes.

Everyone agrees to go for a late dinner but I say nothing. How could they eat when our best friends were missing?! I only ordered a Pepsi and nothing else. I couldn't eat.. Not at a time like this.

Then a loud boom changed that whole night..
