-------------
"Hello, I'm Xu Weizhou, how should I address you?""I'm Huang Jingyu."
"Huang...Huang Jingyu, right? Nice to meet you."
-----------
Do you remember the first time we met? You looked at me with those big eyes of yours and although my name is easily pronounced, yet you stuttered slightly. The first time I acknowledged you, I swear and crossed my heart that I will remember your name till I'm gone.
----
"You have to bear the consequences..."I used my NorthEastern accent, which made my words unclear when I read out my lines.
You shook your head slightly and looked at me as though you've just found something interesting.
"What did you say?"
I showed you the sentences; you took a quick glance at them, smiled at me and tenderly pinched my cheeks.
"You have a cute accent. However, you read the words wrongly."
Then, you slowly and patiently taught me how to read it the right way.
This should not have taken longer than three minutes, but your soft, ruby red lips distracted me, so even after 10 minutes, I still couldn't master the correct pronunciation of the words.
I rubbed my hair and gave you an embarrassed grin.
You stared at me and said: "You're an idiot.
How can you take so long to learn such simple sentences?"Sighing, you spoke to me - I could sense a tinge of reluctance in your beautiful voice.
"If you don't try to speak clearly, it will be hard for your future girlfriend to hear you when you are proposing to her."
With that, I'm reminded of how I've been a straight guy for the past 24 years. Whenever I meet up with the Press, my answer has always been that.
But damn it, I can swear that there has never been a time when I don't want to kiss those soft, rosy lips of yours.
I love you, don't I?
------
"Oh my, how do we deal with Da Hai's legs? Will they have to be amputated?"You warmed my legs under your clothes. What an idiot you were, couldn't you feel how frozen my legs were? Weren't you afraid that I would never let go of that warm, cosy shelter which you offered me?
Fortunately, the novel's writer Chai JiDan, was in the van, too. If she wasn't, I couldn't imagine what I might do to you next.
The heat from your body slowly flowed from my legs to my body, and it warmed my heart in the middle of a very chilly November.
I still don't think that I'm in love with you, no matter how you fast you made my heart beat, no matter how attractive you are in my eyes.
I know that I'm lying to myself. It's just that I've been immersing myself in the role. I'm Gu Hai, and you're Bai Luoyin. It will never be Huang Jingyu and Xu Weizhou, will it?
Because you want a smart and cute girl.
Because my ideal girlfriend must be mature and pretty.
Because we can never love each other, it's obviously something which you and I both know. We will never have that happy ending like in that story, will we?
Because in the very last scene, while Gu Hai and Bai LuoYin entwine their fingers in the wedding hall, we are still strangers, who are nearing the end of this incidental relationship.
