She sat there in her blue frilled dress,
with a little smile making her face glow..
around her were the toys she loved to play n break..
she was trying to do something, which i thought i would never see;
staggering from the floor, attempting to stand-
and then she stood up proudly,with a smile,
as though she won d world, as if s was flying in d air....
I saw my little girl with happy tears...
No one know how much i've cried, when I saw every little girl walking and running,
nobody would realize how much time i've kept on encouraging her when she was struggling to take a step...
I have dreamt of her giggling and playing around with no care around....
and this is when God had answered my prayers...
Her feeble leg with casts, now was gone long...
She had done it, she had walked her first tiny steps.
My baby girl reached towards me with her hands stretched open,
and she fell down when there is one step left behind.
Crying, she asked " Mommy ! Why don’t you catch me.??"
And I sighed "baby, its your life and you have to walk it..."
Whether she understood or not, her head bobbed and I knew whatever the problem, she would face it as brave as she had done now.
