Chapter 29 - For F**** Sake

Chapter 29

Today me and Joe have taken the whole day out of doing work and have decided to go for a little shopping trip. It has been a long time since just the three of us have done something together as we are normally with Zoe and Alfie or Poppy and Sean or both.

We decided we would come to the lanes. It was quite quiet which was good as it meant we wouldn't be getting stopped every 10 minutes by a fan, not that I mind that. It was actually quite peaceful. All the shops had their bunting up in different colours and some had soft music playing attracting people in. It was so beautiful, this is what I love about Brighton. I have had a lot of people ask me why I haven't gone back up to Newcastle as all my actual family is up there like my grandparents but I told them that I would be leaving the family that have made me me, the family that pretty much brought me up but also the amazing scenery and people. Zoe has said the exact same thing however she does actually miss Bath as all of her family are there such as her Dad and grandparents which she is very close with... well everyone except Joe of course.

Me and Joe are actually looking for birthday present ideas for Izzy. I can't believe she is 1 in a couple of months, it's crazy it just feels like yesterday I found out I was pregnant and crying in Alfie's bathroom... and that was with Lola. The last few years have really flown over, I can't believe in 5 years I have been pregnant twice, got a degree, moved back to Brighton, met the man of my dreams, started up my own youtube channel and become best friends/ sisters with Zoe Sugg... Zoe fecking Sugg.

Anyway, we have been looking at a lot of different toys and clothes for Izzy, the only thing I know I definitely want is a walker as she is already starting to try and pull herself up onto tables and chairs so she will be walking in no time.

"Megan? Megan Young?" I hear a voice behind me which I recognised from somewhere. As I turn around I am faced with someone I thought and hoped I would never see again.

"Shaun?" I said and Joe's hand tightened around mine and he pull Isabell's pushchair closer to him.

"Why didn't you call me? You know when you had the baby. I mean I should have been there, it is my child after all" he said trying to look into the pram "come on then let me see it, what did we have? Please tell me I have a son, I would love a son."

"She is a girl" Joe said knowing I wouldn't be able to say anything.

"I don't need you to tell me anything matey. She is my daughter and I asked Meg the question not you"

"Oh yeah, your daughter is she so where were you when Meg was throwing up, needing foot rubs or help getting up off the sofa. Where were you when she went through 16 hours of labour? What about the late nights and early mornings where Isabelle has needed feeding? The nappy changes? The teething? Where have you been for all of that?" Joe said quite loudly meaning everyone in the lanes was looking at us.

"Well I wasn't there for all of that, but I am here now I can take over from here now thank you"

"Erm I don't think so matey" Joe said pushing Shaun back as he had stepped forwards "you are going nowhere near my daughter"

"Your daughter? Mate that baby is mine she told me herself" Shaun said looking at me.

"Yeah well I lied" I said making them both look at me with wide eyes, Joe not having a clue what was coming next. "I lied to try and get money out of you, I thought that if you thought she was yours you might have gave me some money but no you didn't. Isabelle is actually Joe's, it is his name on her birth certificate I had sex with him the night I came back to Brighton" at this point both of their mouths were wide open.

"You slutty bitch" was all Shaun said before pushing past us and turning around and shouting "you will never see me again but that's your problem" I couldn't care less really.

"That... that was amazing" Joe said before kissing my check and walking on towards the next shop.

After we had done a bit more shopping, some clothes for us girls and some gadgets for Joe to use in some videos we headed home with a Pizza Express. Izzy fell asleep on the floor playing so we put her to bed and had a... well not so quiet night if you know what I mean ;)
