Boardwalk Boulevard

Part 2- Carnival Fun

We woke up the next morning to the delicious smell of bacon and pancakes. I woke Anna up and we brushed our teeth and made our way downstairs.

"Good morning Sweeties!" Kim smiled as my mom sat at the island drinking coffee.

"Morning!" We replied in unison.

We looked into the back yard and the boys were passed out on the colorful couches surrounding the pit.

"Let's get the water guns." I smirked and went to the garage. We grabbed 2 super soakers for each of us and quietly made our way to the backyard.

"1, 2, 3!" I whispered, yelling 3.

We started spraying it everywhere, I soaked Brooke's like there was no tomorrow. They shot up and started chasing us while screaming. Anna and I went running but I was to slow, Brooke's caught me.

He lifted me onto his shoulders and taking my phone out of my pocket and set it on the chairs. Shit. I knew what that meant. He ran and jumped into the pool with me, Brenden throwing Anna in as well. I screamed and shot up to the surface.

"BROOKE'S!" I screamed.

"Pay back, Emma, pay back!" He laughed shaking his hair.

I laughed as Anna and I jumped out of the water.

"Let's go eat breakfast, before the monsters get it!" I joked.

"Sounds good." He agreed as we dried off.

The guys soon followed in as we decided to figure out what to do with the day.

"Well, we could go to the carnival seeing how it's already 12." Justin added.

We all agreed and I hopped in the shower. I did my routine this time taking more time to do my hair and makeup. I curled my hair and braided my bangs to the side then changed into a cute sundress and grabbed my sandals and sunglasses.

I walked downstairs just as the guys came up from downstairs getting ready. Anna joined us as well and we started to walk out to the boardwalk.

I was surprised how close the carnival was! We stayed as one group until we got to the space drop. Brooke's and I were the only people who didn't want to go onto the ride so we went and walked around.

"Here, let's play this game!" He smiled and started to pay the guy.

We sat down at the water guns and the worker yelled go. Brooke's water gun stopped working so I automatically won!

"Cheater! You didn't win!" He laughed playfully pushing me.

"Yes I did!" I rubbed it in his face.

"What animal do you want ma'am?" He pointed to the human size ones.

"Hmmm.. I want the panda!" I pointed to the biggest one, just so I could brag about it to Brooke's all day.

"You're such a brat." He laughed.

"Am not! I won! It's not my fault your gun failed." I laughed.

"Whatever" he mumbled with a smile.

He had such a cute smile. It gave me the chills.

"Wanna get something to eat? The rest of them can meet us!" He asked.

"Sure, I'm pretty hungry anyways." I shrugged.

He called and they were already eating, they said something else but I couldn't hear it, Brooke's told them to shut it and his face got red.

"Well, they're already eating but I know an amazing pizza shop just a little bit away. It's even by your favorite shop." He winked.
