First bite

They have come

When we got to school Anthony and I ran up the steps and burst into our class room out of breath. We walk past the teacher to sit in our seats.

"We'll it looks like this two finally made it to class. So what do you say that you answer this question? What is it that makes the earth spin Mr.padella?" He asked.

Oh crap! It looks like this is what we are learning to day but Anthony doesn't know this. So I rase my hand and call out, "my i answer this question Mr." I asked in the nicest voice I could muster. He nodded and let me speak.

"The answer to your question is

that the Earth spins because of the way it was created. Our solar system was made about 4.6 billion years ago when a huge cloud of gas and dust started to collapse under its own gravity. As the cloud collapsed, it started to spin.

Some of the material within this cloud gathered into swirling balls if mass and eventually formed into planets that make up our solar system today. As the planets formed they kept this spinning motion even to this day. The Earth keeps on rotating because there are no forces that is trying to stop it. " I say and start to look back at the class. They all looked dum founded. Even Anthony was staring at me.

What could I say, when you have been alive for as long as I have you get to know things.

The bell rung and we all walked out of class together.

"What was all that about Ian. How do you know all that?" He asked as we walked to our next class. "Well I think you know the answer already. I mean you did sleep in my room last night." I said and I took a turn to my class room.

"Well I will see you after my next class!" I yell to him as he went into an other class room.

I walk out of the class and to the lunch room where I see Anthony siting at our normal table. Once I set down I see that he dose not have anything to eat. I tried handing him a pice of my sandwich after picking the blood capsules off but he just was not hungry.

Why was he not hungry? He is always hungry. "Hay dude if there's anything you need to tell me I'm open ears, and the good thing is all you have to do is whisper." I said with a mouth full of my sandwich.

"It's nothing I will tell you after school. Just finish your lunch." He said in a gloomy voice. I look at him and look away, not feeling hungry anymore.

I put everything back in my paper bag and we started to walk to our next class in silence. I don't know why it was so wearied walking like this but it was. All I could do was wait for the day to be over. It was just a matter of time.

Around three o'clock we finally got out of that place and we hade a but lode of homework to do. "Hay Ian the thing I don't get is that we just spent about eight hours walking around in hell and then they want us to do more work!" He said as we where walking to his house.

The thing I have been thinking about all day is what he said at lunch today. "So what where you going to tell me at the lunch table today? You looked all uneasy then." I told him in a calming voice. He looked at me and sighs.

Well remember what I told you about the other day when a guy came to my house." He stated. I nodded at this, and he went on. "Well he came back and my mom was there. The thing is its just freaking me out. The good thing is that she did not let him in." He said in a relived voice, but then the worried look came back into place.

"I want you to stay over at my house this weekend to make sure that we are ok. Just this once?" He asked. I sighed and nodded my head. I got him involved in this now I have to help him out with it.

"But on one condition." I stated. He looked at me confused, but then he started to shake. Now I was the one that was confused.

"I just wanted to eat dinner in your room. You know, so your mom won't see me eating. I swear, you humans jump to conclusion so fast." I state and start to walk to my house. "I will come over to your house once my homework is done. Witch might only be about three minutes. They shire did pack us up today." I say as I turn the corner and start my journey home.

When I got home there was a strange car parked in our drive way. It looked like one of those CSI cars where the men have those really dark sunglasses and black coats would ride in, but when I walked in the door I found Shaludica siting on one of the chairs in the living room surrounded by men in black suits. She looked scared, but not as scared as when she sow me walk through that door.

One of the men tried to jump me and the other went for my legs. The dragged me down the hall and into one of the guest rooms, and trough me on the bed. Then one of them spoke. "Ian Hecox you have been accused of reviling our true nature to a human. How do you plead?" The one on the right of me asked, and he was bald. All I could do now was to keep my mouth shut.

After about ten seconds of silence the one on the left through me into the closet and closed the door. The baldy spoke up agin. "If you tell the truth we might just let the human live. So what is it? Guilty or not?" He spoke. I then spoke up.

"Guilty as charged baldy, but may I add that be found out on his own. I did not tell him!" Of course I was lying! What else do you want me to do? But then baldy spoke up.

"Your punishment is that you must kill the human or change him. We are giving you one month to decide his fate. We will be back here in 31 days." He then opens the closet door and shoves me out. "31 days. 31 days." Then he was gone.
