"Piper, Piper it's me, Tad are you okay?

"I'm fine that was just my stupid narcolepsy kicking in." I say, anger traceable in my voice.

"Narcolepsy?"

I can hear how scared he is.

"Ever since the crash I have had narcolepsy."

"Ohh yeah." He says awkwardly.

" See you tomorrow night Tad."

"Bye"

When I got home I texted Emmalyn and Scarlet

P:Tad asked me out!

S:Thats great Pipes.

E:Yeah. Where r u going?

P:The movies. Were going to see the new Star Wars.

E:Thats funny me and - never mind.

S&P:Who!!?

E:U know Jason? The 12th grader?

P:Ems r u two dating?

E:Maybe.

S:Yay i knew u were acting weird today.

P:So, did u hear theres going to be a dance?

E: yes. Everyones talking about it.

S:I hope that James askes me

P:i wonder what dress ill wear.

E:We should go dress shopping after school on monday.

S:I'm in

P: don't u think we should wait till we have dates?

S: we don't need to have dates to get in. anyway i'm pretty sure Tad and Jason are going to ask u 2

P:ok I'm in 2

E: Yay dress shopping party

As I fell asleep I dreamt of Tad and all of my friends boyfriends asking us to the dance and going dress shopping together.

~The next night~

"Ding-dong" I heard the door bell ring

"I'll get it"

It was Tad

"Hi." He said sheepishly. Were those flowers in his hand? "these are for you"

"Awe. Tad you shouldn't have."

"Well, are you ready?"

"yep."

"lets go."

As we drove to the movie theater we were talking and I found out that he liked me before I talked to him.. YES! He actually liked me! When we got to the movie theater, Tad bought us a giant bucket of popcorn while I went and saved us seats. Wait.. Who's that in the back of the theater is that.. Ems?

"Emmalyn?"

"Ohh. Hi Pipes. I knew you were coming with Tad but, I didn't know that it would be the same show."

"Neither did I where's Jason?"

"ohh. He's in the bathroom. We should sit together."

"Sure why not."

"Emmalyn what are you doing here?" Tad asks as he walks up behind me.

"She's seeing the movie with Jason."

"Ohh. Well the movies about to start lets go sit down."

As the movie starts I see Jason walk in the back and kiss Emmalyn on the cheek. They're so cute together.

"Wow. Piper do you want to have the popcorn to yourself?" Tad asks teasingly.

Oh no, I was devoering the popcorn. I'm one of those people who eat all of the food at the beginning of the movie.

"Sorry, you can have the rest." I say feeling myself beginning to flush.

"Its ok. I'm not that hungry anyway."

What a way to ruin your first date. All of a sudden I feel his hand touch mind and hold on. Maybe I didn't ruin our date after all.
