CHAPTER 17: Lite Di Angaelo

[Third Person's P.O.V.]

"Darque..."-the boy said. He moved with an amazing speed and Mayu suddenly found him stamding behind Darque. "I missed you..."

Darque stiffed, "Did you miss me?"tanong pa nito. Darque bit her lower lip at hindi na nagsalita pa. Humarap naman ang lalaki kina Mayu. "You found your contractors already."-he then giggled.

Naikuyom naman ni Darque ang mga kamay nya, "Anong ginagawa mo dito? Alam mo ang mga rules."

The boy nodded. "Well duh! Im still looking for people worthy enough to serve me."-he said and grinned. Lumapit pa sya kay Darque para bumulong. "Anong klaseng kasinungalingan nanaman ang sinabi mo sa mga contractors mo para tulungan ka nila?"

Darque's eyes narrowed. "I have told them the truth."

Mukhang nagulat naman sya pero bumalik din kaagad ang sadistic grinned sa kanyang mukha. "Oh well, that so like you."

"The boy. Ikaw ba ang gumawa nun?"-tanong ni Darque, eying the boy.

"That depends. I was wondering kung paano kita makikita ulit then naalala ko na kind hearted ka nga pala so, naisip ko na iset up ang mission na ito. Akala ko nga nakarinig ka na ng mga rumors about a boy transforming ito a monster but apparantly, the monster was too strong na lahat ng lumalapit dito ay namamatay. In the end, the village sent out missions in Clans as well as the Dragon and Demon Clans." He smiled. "Either way, it worked out."

Darque frowned. "Paano mo nalaman kung nasaan ako?"

The boy shrugged. "In case you haven't notice yet. You always, regenerate on Cantarella. I always find myself in Sin."-he said and laughed. "Ironic isn't it? The Devil appears on Cantarella or white, while the Angel appears on Sin."

"In your concruent form, you can only control the movements of the objets. Even using Holy Light, you can only control kinetic energy. So, paanong...?"-Darque trailed.

"The boy transformed into a monster?"-the boy interrupt. "Well, you know when a wizard lose control of its power--"

"I meant, how did you get the boy transformed that... thing."

"Interrupting someone when they saying something is not nice."-sabi nito at umiling iling pa. "Manticore is correct."

"You we're watching us?"-Darque asked.

The boy grinned. "As you already know, kayang magturo ng magic or curse ang dalawang Keys of Afterlife, pero hindi nila ito pwedeng gamitin for themselves. The limit of teaching is two people. However, when the ones that you teach dies hanggang hindi nyo pa tapos ang Binding Ceremony..." he them winked. "Get it?"

"Since manticores are not found around here, you taught, no, forced someone's brain to learn the process of teleport magic, and forced them to teleport yourself and a manticore here. You found a boy who you thought could learn transformation magic and teleported him here, where the boy unknowingly used transformation magic to protect himself from the manticore. However, he was not strong enough to control it." Darque said. "You then killed of the teleporter, so you can still teach two people."

The boy grinned. "Yeah, somthing along those lines. Smart as always."

Darque growled. "Pumatay ka ng inosenteng tao para lang makita ako?"

Nagkibit balikat na lang ang lalaki. "That was a lucky catch that I came across. If this one didn't work, I would have done more damage elsewhere, until you showed yourself." He smiled. "You should be glad that this one was my first try."

He released Darque and turned to stand in front of Mayu and Yohan. "They are you're candidates, right?" He asked. "You didn't do the binding ceremony yet?" Darque didn't reply.

The boy smiled, "I'm sure that you already heard of me, but to formaly introduce myself, I'm Lite Di Angaelo, The Angel Of Heaven. I can manipulate the movements of the objects right now. Pero kapag nakaharap ko na si Darque sa laban, I'm going to use my true power, Holy Light, which gives me the power to control all kinetic energies."-sabi nya and he blinked. "Tell me miss."-and he looked at Mayu. "Ano sa tingin mo ang mas makapangyarihan? Kinetic energy or Elemental energy?"

When no one said anything, Lite signed and reached out one of his pockets and brought out a marble identical to the ones taht killed the monster. He threw it in the air before threwing it to Mayu. He manipulate the kinetic energy so it flew triple times as the speed it should be. Sakura froze, wide eyes. Before the marble hit her, a black barrier appeared and the marble burst.

"See? Hindi ko kayo masasaktan hanggang hindi pa ako nakakahanap ng candidates o hanggang full moon."-he said and yawned. He walked to Darque again and wrapped his arms around her. "Hindi mo na magagawa ang restart ritual thingy anymore. The sacrifice is too big." He slowly opened his mouth and bared his teeth against Darque's neck. He suddenly recoiled as the black barrier appeared. "It's such a pity that even biting you is considered an attack."

Lite tapped his chin, then looked at Mayu again. "When I win, I'm going to revive Darque and make her to stay with me forever. She's gonna be mine and only mine. Her magic strings are only mine to control. She's gonna only ever look at me and I'll make her beautiful for the world to see. It's eternal love. Isn't it romantic?" He folded his arms. "You're a girl, right? Don't you read romantic novels?"

Darque stiffed at Lite's hold and Lite seems to notice it dahil ngumisi pa sya. Sinibukang sikuhin ni Darque and stomach ni Lite but a white barrier appeared na dahil para magkahiwalay silang dalawa. Mayu remembered Darque's magic strings kaya hinila nya ito para makaiwas si Darque dahil hahawakan nanaman sya ni Lite. Darque landed on her feet nicely sa tabi ni Mayu and she mouthd "Thanks." Who nodded at her.

Lite pouted, "Its not nice to interupt someone while they are enjoying their reunion."

"I don't think Darque was enjoying anything."-Yohan hissed.

Lite reached towards Darque who visibly flinched. Mayu quickly touched her key. "Return." She said, and Darque burst into smoke, returning to the key.

"Aw man." Lite whined. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pocket watch. "Oh, look at the time." He said. "I have to go." He spun on his heels and began walking back to where he had first appeared from. "I'll see you guys soon." He raised his foot and disappeared, leaving behind only rustling leaves as proof that he had ever been there.
