Prologue:
Some say my life is perfect. I beg to differ.
Yes. I agree. I live a charmed life, but have you ever heard the saying money can’t buy happiness. I completely agree sometimes. But other times I think the sayings wrong.
Hi. My name is Evangeline, but everyone calls me Eve. Yes.. I know, I know, Adam and Eve. Believe me though that joke gets old VERY quickly. I was born in London, England to my mother Lucinda and my father Arthur. My family was middle class and I grew up there.
Until , my parents decided to go into business. They were sick of working for other people so they started their own investment company. Within a year the company was worth millions. And so were we. So, we moved to the upper side of Manhattan and I attended a private girls school there.
And now, I’m being shipped to my Aunts, an aunt who I’ve never met before and the same Aunt who I herd was ‘mated’ to an ‘Beta’. Whatever that means… anyways. So my Aunts house is in the country near the woods in Idaho. Why am I moving? Because some one tried to kill me.
