In the old tavern the bard does sing,

Of wizard's staff and dragon's wing.

Of fallen knight,

and glorious squire.

Of God's light

and Devil's spire.

Of death's relief

and suffering life.

Of Arthur's defeat

and Daniel's strife.

The tales are sung,

the sun is set.

Wanderer come back for the next.
