I arrived at my sons estate and jumped down off the horse and dusted myself off. Sighing I looked around before going inside. I was greeted by Mr Frobisher.
"My Lady, what and unexpected visit." I smiled
"My apologies. I got here faster than my note. I was hoping to have a picnic with my children."
"I will have the cooks prepare something." He bowed his head and footsteps approached me.
"Mother!" they beamed and rushed to embrace me.
"My darling children." I laughed and picked up little Annalise kissed Arthur's cheek.
"We was not expecting you for months."
"I know, but the time has come, my son." His face turned serious, Arthur was like me now a vampire. He had learned the truth and was more fascinated the discussed. He is much like me when I was his age. I sat down and told him everything about Klaus and Kol, How and why I became a vampire and what it would mean in the future.
-Flashback-
The doors opened and Lady Sophia stepped inside.
"Your son, the Duke of Richmond." Arthur enters the room and bows his head. I grin towards my son and dismiss Sophia.
"Arthur, what a pleasant supri-"
"I want you to change me." I stopped and stared at him. "All I can keep on thinking is about how that wench is digging in and I know in my soul that things will turn bad. That and son of a king or not, I am loyal to you."
"Arthur, you don't know what you are asking of me. I only became this, because I had no choice and I never wanted to leave my newborn and 10 year old.. You have so much of life.
"And I will never enjoy it if you will have to leave! Mother, what do you think will happen? You pose dead and where does that leave us? Have you thought about taking us with you? With Anne Boleyn taking the place which is rightfully yours." He took my arms.
"Mother, I will never leave you or Anna. Not even a wife or husband for Anna could break the bond between the three of us."
"I would take you with me."
"And watch us grow old and die? Where is the justice in that? What he can give he can take away but not us. Not your children."
"You're a mothers boy at heart." He grinned widely.
"Forever and Always, Mama. Forever and always."
-
"Arthur are sure about this?" I sigh as he stood in front of me."
"Yes. Living forever sounds fun." I glare at him and he holds his hands up. "Apologies. You don't want to lose us and we never want to lose you so this is the only way." I sigh and bit my wrist I offered it out to him and he went to take it but I snatched it away.
"Mother!"
"I'm sorry, but I cannot let this happen to you." I shook my head and left.
A couple of days later it was like fate was telling me that he was meant to become a vampire. Arthur had left for his home and on the way there he was thrown from his horse. A messenger came to the castle to inform us.
"Lady Elizabetta! Your Majesty!" A messenger came running in. I had been called to see Henry with his wench. I snapped my head round.
"What is it?" Henry snapped
"I bring grave news of your son. Arthur the Duke of Richmond." I felt everything drop.
"What? What happened." The messenger was finding a way to tell me what was wrong, he was taken too long for my liking so I did the most un lady thing and shoved him against the wall.
What? Henry's temper had rubbed off on me?
"TELL ME NOW OR I WILL MAKE YOU SUFFER!" I screamed drawing the attention of the whole court turn their attention towards me.
"He...He was in a accident. His physicians fear the rest." I dropped him and stated down a moment then turned towards Henry. Who looked grief stricken.
"No" I whispered and picked up my dress.
"Eliza." I stopped and turned to see he was following.
"No, you've done enough damage." I shook my head. Then looked at our friend Charles
"Charles." He looked between us and followed me. I ran out and didn't even bother with a saddle just climbed on and rode out of the palace.
---
"Arthur!" I yelled running in to the manor. I found him surrounded by physicians. Charles behind me. I saw him pale and weak. I lifted his head onto my lap and started crying.
"Leave us." None of them moved.
"Now!" Everyone left and Arthur open his eyes.
"Mother!" he whispered
"My baby. Oh, my sweet boy." I stroked his face.
"I'm sorry."
"There is nothing to be sorry for. You're perfect."
"For forcing you." I sniffled and I knew what I had to do. I bit my wrist and fed him my blood.
"I will not loose you. I will move heaven and earth to protect you my sweet baby. boy." I snapped his neck and held him in my arms.
--------End------
"Anna why don't you go play." She giggled and ran off I took a seat with my son.
"What has happened?"
"She is with child. The witch is with child and he plans to marry her." I felt tears begin to usher and he comforted me.
"We have to move forward with the plan." Arthur nodded and left for upstairs. I found a candle and set the place on fire. I found Anna playing and smiled softly.
"Come my daughter." She skipped over to me and took my hand. I set the last room on fire and left. Arthur was waiting for us with a couple of trunks and a carriage.
----3rd Person-----
Charles staggered into court and looked around before heading towards the throne room. He shoved the door open where Anne and Henry were talking.
"Charles?" Henry asked Charles. He had never seen his friend in such as state.
"They're dead." He stated and Henry walked over to him as two tears rolled down Charles face.
"What?"
"There was a fire at the Richmond estate. I went there. Eliza's horse was there and the place all gone... no survivors." Henry soaked in the news
"Eliza, Arthur...even little Anna. Everyone, gone." Henry rubbed his face
"Leave all of you...Now!" Anne jumped slightly and curtsied. Charles was the last to leave
"I do hope you're happy." Henry snapped his head
What?"
"It is all your fault" Charles left and he fell into the ground.
