Part 6- Day Dreaming

1 Week Later:

It was 6am and Brooke's had woken me up for our road trip. I got into my Jean shorts and a tshirt throwing my hair in a baseball cap and doing my makeup.

"Let's go!" He came up behind me wrapped his arms around my waist.

"I'm almost ready!" I applied mascara and we walked downstairs.

"Have fun, love you sweetie." My mom said drinking her coffee.

We drove to Emily's house to pick her and Justin up and they were already waiting outside for us.

"Climb in" I said as we pulled up.

We drove 3 hours to a mountainous terrain were Brenden and Anna were waiting.

Brooke's pitched our tent next the the others and we went off to go on the jet skis. We rented a tiny piece of land with lake front and jet skis, what more could you need?

I wrapped my arms around Brooke's as we sped in circles, water soaking us.

"Faster!" I yelled.

Finally, went back to camp to have lunch.

We had hamburgers and hot dogs, Anna brought chips as well.

I wanted to go on a walk, as did Brooke's.

"Well be back soon!" I said lacing my sneakers up.

We enjoyed beautiful scenery as we hiked up a mountain and went to a look out. We took cute pictures and made our way back down.

"Let's go fishing for dinner!" Emily grabbed her pole from the Jeep.

"Sounds good!" Everyone replied.

Brenden stayed back to started the fire and soon enough Emily started catching tons of fish. Since nobody else caught any, we relied on her.

We cooked them up and they were delicious.

It was 11 at night and I was tired. Brooke's and I snuggled in for the night in our tiny tent.

I heard Emily and Justin go in there's and I knew she was already nervous.

"Oops. Sorry.." I heard he mumbled and I giggled.

I fell into a deep sleep before I knew it.

We drove past the old shacks around on the back roads as the sun was shining bright. I got out to pet a few cows that reach over wooden fences for new grass. The radio was blarring and we were all having fun. Brooke's drove us down a windy hill. We got to the bottom and hit a pot hole, the car went flying into the creek beside us and it landed upside down. I unbuckled and tried to get out. I crawled through the tiniest of openings then I saw blood. Shit. I heard groaning and crying, then it all went silent. Nobody moved, nothing.

"Emily? Brooke's? Hello?" I banged on the car with tears in my eyes.

"Help!" I screamed.

I picked up my phone and tried calling for help but I didn't have service.

I sat beside the car crying and screaming that my friends were gone.

A cold rush a water went over me, I had woken up.

"Emma? Stop screaming, your okay!" Brooke's held me as I opened my eyes. Emily had poured cold water on me and Anna and Brenden sat behind.

"It was all a dream?" I mumbled.

"Shh..you're okay, Em. You're okay, I have you." Brooke's rubbed my back.

"I'm sorry.." I mumbled.
