Chapter 3. First kiss

I woke up early the next day and went to the kitchen. My mom was putting plates in the cabinets " hey what time did you get home? " Oh um about uhh 7 yeah 7" I said stuttering. My mom faced me " sweetie you think I don't know when your lying you always touch your ear". No I don't I said while touching my ear. Oh I guess she was right. ' now what time did you actually get home?' I sighed around 8:30. ' did you get lost?' My mom said continuing putting the plates in the cabinet. ' actually no I made a friend and today I'm teaching him how to ride a penny board' I said excitingly. 'Him?' My mom said. I sighed, mom he's just a friend. My mom has been really overprotective since dad left us she doesn't want me to get hurt. 'Well be home at a reasonable time and if your not you will have a severe punishment.' I nodded and went to my room. I opened a box and started putting my clothes in my closet. 'Bing!' I grabbed my phone and saw it was from Marcus.

M: hey angel
A: hey Marcus
M: so when is my lesson going to begin?
A: in an hour if that's ok
M: of course meet me the same spot we were yesterday
A: sounds cool
M: can't wait to see you 😘
I smiled and finished putting my clothes in my closet. I looked at my closet which was full of clothes. I seriously have no clothes ughhhhh. I finally chose an outfit which was a striped shirt, some jeans, a light brown cardigan and my converse.(OUTFITS ALWAYS ON TOP) I quickly took a shower and put my outfit on. My hair was already curled so I applied little makeup. I put my charm bracelet on and headed out the door with my penny board.

We practiced for hours until he finally got the hang of it. We went to a store to get Marcus his own penny board. We sat on our penny boards and talked about school and other stuff until I felt Marcus just staring at me. "Why are you staring at m- Marcus then smashed his lips on mine. It felt like it was just a me and Marcus in the world.. Until a car honked and screamed get of the road! At us. We grabbed our penny boards and went under a tree. We both were laughing at what just happened. We finally calmed down and Marcus grabbed my hands. " Angel.. I have so much with you and you always make me smile, will you be my girlfriend.?
