Prologue :
" Go, Seven. GO! "
That, that and the piercing scream, were the last thing I ever heard out of my mother, out of anyone from my town. It happened so suddenly. So suddenly that I barley remember what had happened. I can just make out coming down stairs to the thrown room, to see mother when all of the sudden, the royal guards came running in telling everyone to get out. Then a bunch of people came crashing in threw the windows. So naturally I ran out the door, with mother at my heels. We were in the safe room, until, we had gotten news that they had found us. My mother and I went into the escape hatch just as some weirdo assassins broke into the chamber. With in seconds the guards were dead and mother and I knew there wouldn't be enough time for us to both escape. So she pushed me out the hatch door and threw herself into the room with the assassins. I stood there watching as the grabbed her. She yelled at me to go and in confusion, I did as she told me to. I Tried to see her from the tree line but I could only hear her intense scream. Where am I know, fighting my exhaustion to stop running and rest. But I can't, not if I want to protect the royal name my mother died for. So I picked up my dress even more and continued to run.
It had felt like I had been running for hours before i finally couldn't take it anymore. The exuastion had gotten to me. I couldn't take it anymore. I finnally collapsed upon the ground. The last thing I saw was a light and a woman running towards me, but after that, everything was black.
