James ran into his room and packed a whole bunch of necessary items for the last minute trip to the Pitcairn Islands, his bags were in hand and he ran down to the front door trying to leave as soon as possible.
"James!" Lindsey stood up and ran over to him, straightening her shirt quickly. James noted that her hair was a mess as he turned to face her.
"Where are you going?" Lindsey asked.
"The Pitcairn Islands," he answered quickly. "Please don't ask why right now."
"Fine." She pouted, "can I go with?"
"Sure, but you're paying for your own ticket. These are expensive." James warned. She squealed in excitement and ran off.
"WAIT FOR ME!" She yelled as she ran away. James just nodded and then walked over to the couch to sit next to Kelson. He set his bags on the floor and sunk back into the fluffy couch in the silence he enjoyed.
"She didn't even ask for my permission." Kelson stated, interrupting the welcome silence.
"Why would she need to do that? She's an adult." James answered.
"I'm going to be lonely without her." Kelson muttered, staring at the roof.
"You can come with." James offered, joining Kelson in the staring at the roof thing.
"I can't, I don't like to travel." Kelson admitted.
"You're in a band!" James turned to Kelson with wide eyes and exclaimed with shock.
"I'm scared of airplanes, are you happy now?!" Kelson looked at him in return. James merely shook his head with shock. They both returned to staring at the roof. Obviously Kelson couldn't stand the silence. "How's Tara?"
"That was not a question I wanted to hear right now," James clenched his jaw and avoiding Kelson's look of interest. "Nor a topic I wanted to talk about right now."
"Okay." Kelson once again returned to staring at the ceiling. "You know, now that I think about it, I want to go with you." He watched James shrug without any care.
"Same rules apply, you're paying for your ticket." James warned. Kelson ran upstairs to go pack.
James thought of interesting things as he waited for Lindsey and Kelson to prepare to go, such as how long does it take a woman to pack necessary items. That was when Lindsey and Kelson ran downstairs with four bags including her purse.
"Ready to go?" James asked.
"Yeah," Lindsey said and Kelson nodded. James grabbed his bags before leading the way to the door to open it for her. She walked out and waited by James's car door to the backseat passenger side when Kelson grabbed her bags along with his own and followed James who walked to the trunk and shoved both of his bags in there.
To avoid talking, once James turned on the car, he turned up the music to his CD of music by John Williams. They drove to the airport.
