Chapter 3

A/N- hello everyone! I'm so sorry for not updating for 2 months or something but I've been caught up with work and I just haven't had the time to write anymore chapters. but I've left you waiting long enough so here's a new chapter :)

Emily's Pov

"Joe? Joe? wake up! it's Archie's first birthday! Jesus Christ Joe!! wake up!" I whispered while shaking him lightly. Grunts escaped from his mouth and I sighed. I scrambled out of bed and walked towards the bathroom.
"Joe??" i called to him.
"mmm" he mumbled.
"I know this sounds stupid but where's the bathroom gone? it was here right? I'm not losing the plot am I?" I asked. Joe scratched his head then shot up.
"we moved!!" he gasped.
"oh shit yes!" I laughed.
"we have so much to do! I forgot to tell you, everyone's coming over today for Archie's birthday party" Joe smiled.
"Joe we have boxes everywhere.. we can't have a party. I couldn't even remember that we moved" I panicked.
"well come on! we can't cancel now let's get a move on. they're not coming at 6 anyway. we have all day." Joe said as he scrambled out of bed. I sighed and rushed around the room, pulling clothes out of suitcases and placing them lightly in the wardrobe which had been placed there the day before by the moving men.
"I'll go sort out downstairs" Joe called as he ran downstairs. I continued to put things away and then I moved on to the next room, placing duvet covers on duvets for the guests while Joe sorted out the kitchen, living room and dining room.

*hours later and the house was in somewhat good condition after hours on end of unpacking*

"Joe I need to shower. how long have we got until the guests are here? will you sort out Archie? change him and he may want some more milk. he shouldn't be tired as he's slept all day" I said as I stripped off all my clothes and hopped in the shower.
"you have an hour to get ready and yes I'll go sort out Archie now"
I scrubbed my body and washed my hair with shampoo and conditioner and I sat in the shower until I was pleased with my cleanliness. I dried off my hair and body and then clambered into my finest dress. A slightly revealing, black lacey dress. It was Joe's favourite as he could see a lot of my cleavage. I quickly straightened my hair and piled on my make up. I stared at myself in the mirror for 5 minutes and then the doorbell rang. I rushed to answer it.
"Zoeeeee long time no see" I smiled as I hugged her tightly.
"you look gorgeous Em" Zoë grinned.
"as do you" I chuckled.
"and what about me then?" Joe laughed as he awkwardly hugged Alfie and slapped his shoulder then he comfortably hugged Zoë.
"same old same old" Alfie smirked.
"watch it you" Joe laughed.
"So where is he?" Zoë beamed. "the birthday boy!!"
"right through here" I smiled and they followed me through to our newly decorated living room.
"Happy birthday handsome! here's a little gift from auntie Zoë and uncle Alfie" Zoë smiled. I unwrapped the present for him and he waved his arms around and giggled.
"Zoe! it's adorable! Thankyou so much! I smiled as I hugged her again.
"you're welcome. can I hold him?" she asked.
"of course" I said while lifting him out of his chair and placing him into Zoë's arms.
"God. this place is nice man!" Alfie said.
"aw thanks mate. I do go for the best for my Mrs." Joe chuckled while squeezing me into him.
"Joe.. be careful.." I said while gritting my teeth and glancing down to my stomach and he cowed away and nodded apologetically.
"so when did you move in here?" Zoë said.
"yesterday" I laughed. "Joe just sprung it on me in the morning. he just told me to pack his camera equipment and our clothes because the removal guys would be there soon. The house was pretty much already furnished when we got here, but we just added a few more things. Joe brought some stuff from the apartment but we left a lot of it there for Caspar and a lot of it was at the apartment to start off. but yeah I love it here."
"It's so nice"
"thank you Zo" I smiled.
The doorbell rang again and Joe answered this time. I heard him laughing and I knew who had arrived by their voice. Caspar Lee and his girlfriend. They walked into the room and Caspar instantly started joking around.
"Caspar my man!" I laughed as I pulled him into a hug.
"Hello, I'm Emily. lovely to meet you" I said as I turned to Caspar's girlfriend.
"Hi, I'm-" she was cut off by Marcus bursting through the front door singing and laughing.
"Marky Butt Butt on the track! you must be wondering where have I been but the truth is I'm so famous that I can't be seen!" everyone burst into laughter and Caspar joined in.
"people stop and recognise me everywhere I go! from swimming pools to shopping malls all around the globe!" Caspar screamed. I felt bad for Archie. This party wouldn't be about him. It was more of a get together and to simply get drunk.
