Chapter Four: Touched

"Oh, Aunt Sue!" I cried hugging her, "That's great!"

"This is exactly what I needed!" Chris exclaimed. "No offense meant Rachel, but it's a bit boring after you fall asleep."

"None taken."

Chris began to pace "Let's see, I'll have to be here during the day... Matt I'm gonna need you locker."

"Er...OK."

'Susan, Rachel get some sleep tonight because were going shopping tomorrow."

I groaned.

"None of that Missy," Chris scolded, " you're going and you're gonna like it!"

"Fine!"

"Chris," the king interrupted " Make sure to get one heck of a band!"

"Easy! Rachel I'm going to hire the school Glee club, is that alright."

"Of course!" I said kissing his cheek.

"Fine I'll be there today to work with the group."

I nodded.

"We should go" The king said to Chris, "But first....Family hug." he engulfed Susan, Matt, Chris and I into a giant embrace.

"Ooh" I groaned.

"See you this afternoon my love!" Chris called.

Later I was by my locker, putting all my books away when David Farmer a fellow vampire hunter sauntered up to me.

"You know that Blood Sucker doesn't really love you."

"Go away David!" I said pushing past him.

"He can't love you," David continued following me." There's nothing lovable about you. You're stupid, you can't dress yourself, your not funny, your useless when training..."

"Stop!" I pleaded.

"The only thing he wants is your luscious body!"

David pinned me against the wall, and grabbed my hips.

"Let me go, or I'll scream!"

"I'd like to see you try Midget!"

I opened my mouth but David's lips crashed onto mine. Thank the depths I was still able to scream.

"RACHEL!"

David pulled away and I smirked

"Run!"

He did as I said, and within a few moments Chris and Matt came around the turn.

"I'll take care of her get him," Matt said

With an animalistic growl Chris pinned David against the wall, " IF YOU EVER TOUCH MY MATE AGAIN THERE WILL BE THE DEPTHS TO PAY HUNTER!! " he snarled baring his fangs. " now GO!"

Chris ran back to me, "Are you OK?"

I shook my head "No."

"We should take her to the principal." Matt told him.

"Alright," he said "Come darling."

With their help I was able to wobble to the office.

"Ah, Matt, Rachel and Your Highness," The Principal gasped " What can I do for you?"

"My mate was touched by another!" Chris explained sitting me down " Tell her what happened Rachel."

Taking a nervous breath I began to tell her everything that had happened. And even that my parents were trying to arrange a marriage between David and me.

"Well, the good news is I can expel him." She said " I'm sorry Your Highness this won't happen again."

"No it won't because Rachel will only come here for Glee club, I will see to the rest of her education," he looked at me, "I'm sorry Babe I know you love it here, but I can't take any more chances. I want you safe!"

"I understand." I whispered trying to hide my grief.

"Good," he said turning to the principal "See to the arrangements."

"Yes Sir."

Chris stood up "Let's go home."

I nodded taking his hand.

I turned to wave Matt goodbye as Chris I left the school
