It's windy but he's a die heart rider on his motorcycle. He had class in his hometown Oakland, and now he's headed back doing about 120mph because he left his jacket. He makes this trip every Thursday without any problems. But today as he leaves Oakland striking through Richmond he's doing every bit of 120mph comfortably on a 65mph highway. Just when he strikes past San Pablo Damn Road he sees headlights to the right just off the side of the road, but they are facing in the wrong direction. Can't really make out the vehicle because he's moving past to fast. Just about an half mile up they're flashing red, white, and blue lights coming up pretty quick from behind. Instantly his instinct says give it more gas they can't keep up, but because the toll bridge was coming up fast and cars were backed up he decides to slow down. Who knows maybe they're not following me at all. Bit of course that would be wishful thinking.

The cops loud speaker blast in the night with a voice that imaged a cocky probably no taller than 5'3 ass hole with something to prove.

Pull to the side of the road! he yells.

Is he serious though man its cold as shit. This motha fucker don't have shit else to do. He cooperates and yields for the officer. He can not stand the police just gives him bad vibes. Almost every encounter he ever had with one landed him behind bars.

Officer: Do you know how fast you were going?

CJ: yep

Officer: how fast?

CJ: you tell me man. Am I on trial or is this a traffic stop?

Officer: you had any drinks?

CJ: man what the fuck he'll no I don't ride my bike inebriated. Man I was going fast it's a freeway.

Officer: You were going 90mph sir.

Now I knew his as was a liar because I was doing every bit of 120mph. So I was like fuck it whatever you say.

He ran my plates, my license and flash his light in my eyes to check my pupils.

Officer: alright sir I need you to sign this ticket, it for speeding 25mph faster than the speed limit.

After I signed it he brushed me off with a have a nice day.

I couldn't wait to put my helmet back on because the rebel in me wanted to show his funky ass what this Suzuki TLR1000 could do, make him know that I let you pull me over. But he pulled off before I did in pursuit of another speed demon.

So I continue across the bridge to my home. The whole time I'm like I don't have time for the shit and I damn sure not giving these funky motha fuckers my money.

Now where I'm from I usually hit up the good Samaritan center pay $50 to the lady that run the program and she writes off all my hours. So let's see if it works like this over in the valley. well actually I have 90 days after my court date to find a place

haven't lived out here but a hot minute and already these motha fuckas is controlling my movements.

90 days went by like a couple of weeks and now I only have 3 days to find a place to do my community hours or pay the full amount.

I am definitely having second thoughts because I have 3 days to find a place and today is Friday. I Google a few places to see what are my options. There is a church program that I can try, the goodwill and the YMCA.

Now I am not for sure fucking with no YMCA because my patience at this point is short for kids.

I call the church program and they say

Sure come on down Tuesday and we will get you register to start.

damn that will not work for me because my deadline is Monday. So I try the good will and of course its a hit but the person I need to speak with is out on vacation so if I could give it a week they could get me in there for sure.

OMG the only place left is the YMCA. Now this is not going to work at all. I call and they are not really sure is they allow people to do community service.

the clerk says, let me ask someone about that.

she puts me on hold then comes back and says yes we do

I said well when can I come get you to sign these papers?

she said today If you like.

look here I hopped on my motorcycle and road down there which happened to be three blocks from my house. So if it worked out it would be perfect.

When I get down there I am greeted by the executive director Shelly and first thing she saying is we need to do a background check.

It has been more than ten years since I been locked up but I am thinking that I know they do extensive background checks. all this violence about to pop up on my record; Attempted Murder, Assault with a deadly weapon, gun possession, drug cases etc.

She assures me that someone would notify me the following day with a yay or nay.

So am already like let me continue my search for a place

next day she calls and I was approved, and I could start next week when I was available to come. I was down there bright and early Monday morning to start my hours. She directed me to this funny looking dude that from first glance reminded me of my uncle that use to drink all the time and you could visually see it through the craters in his skins. she said he will assign you your jobs to do every day so be sure and report to him.

Ok lets see if I could put this pay thing into action because I know like hell they really don't expect me to put in no work I got shit to do.

It didn't work out quite the way I imagined they really wanted me to work. He assigned me my job of unloading a container and putting everything back organized.

this is going to be a long 200 hours I see that already.

after about 3 days he couldn't think of what he could have me to do so he turned me over to the program director...

damn she was a cutie pie, flawless dark skin, you could tell she takes care of here hair because it was middle of her back and real healthy looking. She was a little top heavy and kind of petite. She was loud and everyone responded to her well you could tell she didn't play no games and kept order.

She shakes my hand and introduces herself.

Hi I'm Mrs. Candy you could start off by cleaning the classrooms then when you're done get with me and I will give you further directions.

Now this could turn out to be better then I thought. Maybe I miss judged the club. It's not so bad after all...
