Dear Life,

"Dear life," I started to write in my diary. "last night was the WORST night of my life! And I mean the WORST!! It all started in gym, the 2nd period. I was picked last for dogeball. Well almost the last picked, the other people who were still left were smelly Betty and Xavier, who was just bad at sports. The team captions were Beck,who was like the most HOTTEST guy in 8th grade and Clara,who was like the most POPULAR girl in the grade. And of course I was on Becks team because Clara hates me because, well, I'm more of that sporty chick and that Gross girl. Towards the end of the game I started to show off a little, and by a little I meant a lot. Then I got Clara's friend, Sofia. Beck started to smile and I froze. Smiling, that's all I could think about him smiling at me. Then,Out of the blue... BANG. Clara slammed me in the face with a dogeball and yelled, "Loser!" even with the "L" on her head! Wow! Did I really just freeze in front of the whole class!! I was so embarrassed. Every one was either staring or laughing. My cheeks started to blush and my eyes teared up. Most humiliating day of my li-" "Jackie!! You're going to miss the Bus!!" my mom yelled.

"Uh, coming!" I finished writing,ran down stairs, grabbed a granola bar from the cupboard, and headed for the bus.

"Good morning Jackie!" said the bus driver.

"Good morning," I mumbled.

"Hey Jack," said Clara

"it's Jackie"

"oh yeah I forgot that you were a girl," everyone started laughing as I rushed to the back of the bus where Elena was and slowly slouched down in my seat.

"Just ignore her Jackie," whispered Elena.

"yeah I've tried and tried, she just keeps on getting on my nerves,"

"don't worry at least you have me. Right?'

"yeah," as she gave me one of her earbuds I knew that she was listening to Acapella by Karmin. Our favorite song for probably half the year. For the rest of the way Elena and I started to plan the hang out that we have every month.

*at school*

BRIIINNNNGGG went the bell. Me and Elena had different CPR teachers so I was in Ms. Snow and Elena had Mr. Martz. Ms. Snow was doing attendance and as usual Dylan was late for school cause he slept in. "Jackie West?" she said

"Here!"

"Dylan Goldberg?" no one answers.

"Dylan Goldberg?!' still no answer.

"Well I guess he's abs-" she was interrupted

"I'm here, I'm here!" he yelled.

"you're late!" I whispered.

"no! I thought I was early for tomorrow!" he sarcastically said.

"well sorry for giving you an update," I said

After class me and Dylan had tech Ed in room 217. We don't really have homework so him and I just Wing it.

During the middle of the class me Dylan and elena start texting each other. Elena is in study hall soo yeah that explains it.

Me: So u guys want to meet up at kwik trip after school??
