Our eyes glared across the sky as these things closed in towards us... Ice projectiles?
"... Brandon... ?" Victoria mumbled.
"... ..." I silently responded, unsure of what to do.
"Brandon!?" Again she murmured. The avalanche was closing in towards us as the raining of snow abruptly stopped. The shards of ice tumbling across the rolling snow ringed with a smooth tone as if they were gigantic, irregular chimes of ice.
"RUN!!!" I exclaimed as we both started sprinting for our lives. The ground shook as the roar of these white waves came like half the speed of lightning. I dared to look back as we both panted deeply with every step we took away from the crumbling cookies and cream-like mountain.
"BRANDON! Incoming!" As never suspected, the ice shards came in faster than the flood of snow, tumbling right across the slopes. We ran and held each others hands as the crackling of the solid ice crystals shadowed our paths.
"To that cave!"
"Holy mother f!" I screamed as these shards were a hundred times bigger than I suspected, they fell like gigantic shattered pieces of glass upon our tracks. As we were meters away from the cave parallel to the path of the avalanche, the sea of snow were just inches away from us, the mist emanating from it swallowing our sight. Just as we made it to the cave, we avoided the avalanche, running farther towards the back of the cave.
"Ah! Get me away from here!!!' Victoria exclaimed as she seemed to be terrified of the snow. Shielding the scattering flakes of snow using her umbrella, she was agtating like in pain as I put myself in front of her to shield her further. Later, the dark abyss of the cave went pitch black as a giant crystal shard seemed to trap us in that cave.
"Brandon!..." I felt her hand grip me as the blackness of our eyes made us feel blind. I felt scared until this blue aura trailed up from her hands.
"Woaw..." I stared blank faced as she was producing this glowing blue smoke of icy thing from her hands.
"How do you- ?" Ultimately prevented to ask, she looked away.
"Okay... I have this sort of ice power..." Victoria relays.
"...That's... So... -" I replied, but still unfinished of my sentence.
"Yeah, so abnoxiously weird and epidemic. But you see... I can never use my power without this thing I'm looking for. I totally forgot what it was, but all I know is that I had something..." She stated in response.
"What is this 'thing' you're looking for?" I asked.
"I really don't remember... Nor do I remember where I came from... All I remember is that I woke up from this ice pod where I have been, sort of like I crashed into this world, then now I remember I was supposed to look for something which will tell me my purpose." She responded.
"Ohhh. Pretty tough huh... So you came from another... ?" I stubbornly questioned her once again.
"... Yes... No... I dont know..." Upon stating this, she kelt upon my lap as she began to feel depressed. I cupped my arms around her as the blue aura of ice emanating from her hands expanded and branched out, going in circles around the cave as it illuminated it in inspiring awe. The cave wasn't pitch black anymore, it was an ice show of fantasy.
"So... Why are your afraid of the snow?" I asked gently as I leaned closer towards her.
"Okay... This is how it goes. You see this umbrella?" She said.
