14.The Ambush of Powers

A.J's Point of View

I woke up in a metal box with only a bed with clearly visible springs.

"Wow. Why not put in a decent bed? Lazy." I thought.

I walk to the bed and sit down. These prisons can be so boring. Like, they don't even have a guard watching over me. I could escape anytime I want to. I use my powers over fire to melt the springs into a more sleep-able position. I lie down to sleep. When I wake up, they give me a slab of raw meat. I cook it and eat it slowly. Who knows when my next meal will arrive.

Brian's Point of View

I'm running through the forest. An arrow impales itself in a tree right next to my face. I enter what A.J used to call "Black Eye Mode" I leap past the arrow and keep running dodging a dozen or so more. My right arm is badly cut making my sword useless. I hear a sound and spin around. I see a Magron emerging through a bush. I throw my sword with my left hand. No luck. The sword spins around at the last second and the handle bounces harmlessly off its head. I charge my fist with lightning and run up and punch him. He dodges and runs away. I continue through the forest. Matthew and Alicia materialize at my side with the rest of the team, all thirty members. I turn toward the bushes as Magrons step out one by one until the clearing is full of them. I change myself into a rock and run toward them, it doesn't work. No matter how hard I try, it won't work. Strange. I watch as half of my team are disintegrated. The rest of them turn toward me with bright red eyes. They pin me down to the ground and unsheathe my sword. They start to slash away at me. Each cut stings for a second then disappears. My sword is stabbed through my body and everybody disappears as if nothing happened. My eyes slowly close "Black Eye Mode" makes me not feel pain, but it only lasts for so long. My eyes close as I pass out of this world into the other.
