Eteocles huddled in the warmth of his blankets, savoring the warmth it gave him.
"So cold" he whispered to himself.
He looked up and saw the stars, the moon, the darkness he was so used to succumbing to. He always looked at the stars, wishing upon each one that his life would get better.
His parents, James and Maribel, were very cruel, forcing the young boy to live outside. Simply because he was not living up to his parents expectations, his parents 'Oh so dearest wishes'.
He begs and pleads with the gods above to give him some sort of relief. Tears roll down his face and he yells to anything; The sky, the trees, the ground. Anything that was in his eyesight he yelled at. It made him feel good, made him lose all that was bottled up inside.
He open his eyes, his violet eyes boring into his hell; the house where his parents eat, sleep, and laugh about their own son's failures.
His heart pounded against his chest, his thoughts jumbled past comprehension. Only one remained dormant in the sea of darkness.
"You call yourself parents, tonight I have spilled my last tears over you, tonight you will feel the tears running down your own faces, while you scream for mercy"
