2013

"Chase get up!" Linda screams at her young daughter. Her daughter stirs in her bed and groans. But never the less falls back into a dreamy state. Linda rushes to the bed and shakes her. Chase's eyes shoot open looking at her mother in fear.

"Get up, we need to go, now!" Chase looks up at her mother as she shouts frantically.

"Mom, whats going on." Linda looked at her 13 year old child with sad eyes. She had always told her they would be safe. She promised nothing would ever happen. That promised was broke today. November 23.

The news  took over every channel on TV, the others. They had finally come down. The children were fascinated by the ship. Not realizing the danger involved with it.

"We need to go somewhere baby." Linda told her sweet daughter.

Chase shot up quickly more alert, "Mom you said we were fine, we didn't have to leave like everyone else."

"I know what I said Chase, I'm so sorry. Please just get your stuff and help Katie get hers." Linda told Chase. Chase looked at her mother for a moment before nodding her head okay. She jumped out of bed and grabbed a couple bags and began shoving things into them.

Linda walked out of Chases room and walked to her room she shared with her husband, she watched him as he shoved many small hand guns into a bag. He looked up and meet her eyes. He quickly took notice to the tears threatening to spill over her eyes. He walked up to her with a gun still in hand and embraced her. He felt her silent tears wet his shirt slowly.

"It will be okay, It's okay, I promise, I promise you." He whispered in her ear. He pulled back and kissed her forehead. He held the small pistol out to her. She sighed and took it from him placing it in her holster.

"We need to go," Ron said to his wife as the stared at the gun in her holster.

"I know," Linda sighed. She walked downstairs with the few bags they had to the living room.

Chase was there putting a heavy coat on Katie, while Lisa, Conner, and Drake stood to the side ready to go. Conner held a crying, half asleep Drake. Linda sighed as the girls grabbed their bags and turned.

"Let's go," Chase said as she grabbed her cat placing him into the carrier, then grabbing two leashes. Hooking one to Luke and taking the other outside for Lee. Slowly one by one they all walked outside.

Linda  watched as Lisa walked out leaving her alone. She  opened her carrier looking in at her cat. She sighed as she let a tear fall once again. She put her hand on her cats head before sighing once more and walking into the waste.
