Chapter 9

Chapter 9 - 1173 words

*** Amber's P.O.V ***

After wondering around, vlog bombing and even more fans coming up, asking for autographs and runing away again, it was time to start setting up for the Creatures fan meet-up.

It was pretty late, nearly the end of pax, but that's how they wanted it. We didn't really have to do much just get everyone here and put out a table that had the shirts for the giveaway. But of course someone had to be late and that was James and now I was looking for him. Jordan aka. Kootra told me he was at the Wii U place doing some weird shit. Sure enough he was there filming the faces of the people who were playing the Wii U.

"What are you doing?" I ask, making him jump.

"Who are you? He questioned me back. I let out a sigh.

"I'm Eddie's friend, Amber. Jordan told me to get you, so come on. Let's go." I said and started walking away. James soon followed me.

"So, how did you and Eddie meet?" I looked at him, confused at his sudden want to talk to me. Then I relaxed, 'He's just a human, Amber' I thought to myself.

"Uh," I started, trying to remember. "I was crying and Eddie saw me and came over, seeing I was wearing one of his shirts. He asked if I wanted to meet you guys, of course I said yes, and we just started hanging out."

"Huh, interesting." Again, I looked at him, confused at what he meant by that.

We got back to the meet-up and we were all finished. People were already here, asking for autographs and all that shit. I wonder if the guys ever get tired of it. I would but then I guess I would love to see my fans. Yes. I have a YouTube channel! I have only got about 100 subs but I still love them all and they are so supportive. My channel is CatsAndTheThugLife. (I know it's cheesy but I like cats ok.)

Anyway, instantly people started coming to James, so I just slipped away. I saw Eddie and went over to him. It was weird, no fans were around him.

"Hey." I said to him. He jumped, but the relaxed. I giggled at that, I seem to be making a lot of people jump today.

"Hi. Where was James?" He replied when he saw it was me.

"He was recording people playing the Wii U. He's a strange guy."

"You get used to him."

"So, what you doing for the meet up?"

"We're letting the fans ask us questions, then giving away shirts by asking them questions, but finally, at the end we get a special announcement!"

"What is it?"

"You'll find out."

"Sly! We're starting; get your butt over here!" We looked over ad it was Jordan or should I call him Hordan, hehe.

Eddie ran over to the front and everyone got in a big group. I was at the back, like the last meet up. They started with the questions from the fans. Some were very weird. One girl asked if she and Eddie could get married and she was like fucking 12. I lol'ed at that.

Next they did the giveaway and the questions were pretty hard but I got one. 2nd shirt today must be my lucky day. But now it was the big announcements that Eddie told me about. For some reason I felt nerves, but again I was excited.

"Now we have a special announcement." Eddie spoke and everyone was quite, wondering what it was, just like me.

"Me and the rest of the group have decided that it's time for a change and we have been looking for a new person to join the Creatures. We wanted someone not famous, someone no one will know, like an underdog. We also wanted a girl, so we don't look sexist. That's why we have chosen a friend of mine that I have been hang out with for the hole of Pax." My heart was now beating fast. It couldn't be me.

Eddie continued, "And that person ... is Amber!"

What?! I must be dreaming; someone needs to pinch me, no, more like slap me. It couldn't be me, no one has every cared for me and no one will. All I could hear were people cheering, that couldn't be for me. I felt tears rolling down my cheeks but I think they were happy tears. Did they really like me, did they really choose me?

Then Eddie was in front of me and was dragging me to the front. Everyone cheered louder. I hugged Eddie. He had changed my life so much; I owe him my life because he saved mine. He gave me a t-shirt; it had the Creatures logo on the front and my name on the back. I put it on over my shirt. I hugged all the other guys and thanked them.

After, lots of people came up to me and asked for my autograph. I guess I get to know what it's like to have a lot of fans and now I know it is great meet everyone and seeing the care. But then it hit me, my brother. I went over to Eddie.

"Thank you Eddie but I just can't." He looked at me confused, his smile seemed to drop.

"Why?"

"My brother." And all he did was point. I followed his hand and there he was. Tom started walking towards us and Eddie left. Now I was all alone with him.

"I'm so sorry Amber. I never should have done anything to hurt you. I'm so sorry and I know you will never forgive me."

"So, you're letting me go?"

"Yes." That was all I needed to hear but the truth was I never really hated him, I wish I did but I just couldn't. I hugged him.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"I want to be your brother now. Can I?

"Of course, you'll visit me, won't you?"

"Of course."

"And bro."

"Yah?"

"I love you."

"I love you too."

I could feel tears rolling down my cheek as we hugged and Tom kissed me on the forehead.

The next day we took a plane to Colorado. But it's been a year from when that happened. Lots of things have changed. Max aka. Gassy and Steven aka. Ze have left, Steven for is studies and Max for personal reasons. Aleks has joined the Creatures and we're in a new house.

I have kept in contact with my brother and he has visited a few times. I have gone to a new school and am in my last year.

I owe my life to those guys. They saved me from life and brought me into a new one but is the new one better or worse.
