I was walking home after being gone for a few hours, I went to the same bridge I always go to whenever I need to clear my head. I took Hunter with me, hunter is my golden retriever, he's my best friend. While Walking hunter stopped and was slightly growling because he saw someone, but only slightly growling because he didn't see them as a threat. I turned around to see a boy, he had on jeans, a black jacket with some name right on the shoulder that lit up his outfit, The usual "fuckboy" haircut, blacked out shoes, and was about to walk into a tree
"WATCH OUT" I yelled and startled him.
He walked over Yelling "It's 2 am The hell are you yelling for??"
"Boy I just damn saved your face from smashing right into That tree you didn't see because you were too busy taking a video of yourself" I said Laughing. "Haha very funny, thanks though. What's your name miss walks her dog @ 2 in the morning?" He said Grinning
"Y/n, what's yours mister almost smashes his face into a tree because he likes to record himself walking @ 2 in the morning?"
"Pretty name, I'm Jack" He held out his hand for me to shake it.
We shook hands and had a conversation about little things about ourselves as he unknowingly walked me home, I stopped in front of my place and he said "My house is a couple more down, Catch you guys around? what's his name by the way?"
"My house is right here, I guess you will, his names Hunter." I said back. He turned around and while walking away he yelled "HUNTER IF SHE TAKES YOU OUT AT 2 AM AGAIN CALL ME"
"WATCH OUT FOR TREES JACK THEY'RE DANGEROUS" I sarcastically yelled back.
I walked in the house, cleaned up and headed to my room. On the way I passed my mom's door and whispered goodnight. I've done that for as long as I can remember.
I walked into my room and immediately Hunter layed down on my bed, I relate to this dog so much. I got under the covers, hugged him, and as I was starting to drift off to sleep, the weirdest though came to my head, What the hell type of dreams do dogs have? Right after that 5 second thought I fell asleep.
