Harry sat alone studying the floor of Hogwarts Great Hall thinking back to the first day he laid eyes on this very room. He never imagined that this would be the way Hogwarts looked when he left. Then packed with people, now packed with many the same but in very different conditions. Harry Potter's only real home, the ground covered in broken glass and rubble.

Two Arours joined the group of red heads staring with red eyes to the lifeless body of Fred. They covered the body with a black cloth. Harry ran past Nevile who was still holding the sword of Godric Griffendoor and Luna looking blankly at her feet.

He wrapped his arm around Ginny's shoulders. And whispered "I know you miss him, I do too."

Hermione was crying whilst clutching Rons blood splattered shirt. Ron rested his head on hers. Harry could feel hot tears running down his face. Ginny turned to him and wiped them off.

"Harry?" Ginny asked suddenly. Breaking the silence. This is the first time he had heard someone talk in hours. He loved the sound of her voice.

"Harry?... Will... You... Come... Walk... With me? She said between sobs.

"Yes" He said while wiping blood off her check.

They walked out to the lake and sat down. Fang was barking in the distance. "How are you?" Ginny's asked as their eyes met.

"Er-- fine I guess" He lied.

"Fine, Harry? You just defeated Voldemort!" She said looking very shocked.

Harry laid down on his back Ginny laid her head on his chest. Harry thought of all those joyful times he spent with her, here at Hogwarts. All the times he, Hermione and Ron walked these grounds. He sat up and smiled looking over the lake.

"What are you smiling about Harry? Ginny asked.

"You" Harry replied.

"You're so sweet. You always know what to say." She said and kissed him.

MEANWHILE WITH HERMIONE AND RON

"Where did Ginny and Harry go?" Ron looked slightly annoyed.

"By the lake. I think." Hermione answered.

"I'll be right back." Ron stood up and started to leave the Great Hall.

"Ron, no!" Hermione yelled after him.

"Bloody Hell Hermione. What is it?" Ron turned around.

"Let them be alone today for Gods sake. Can't you see we've been through enough today?" Hermione snapped.

"He is going to hurt her like he did before. I know it."

Hermione grabbed him by the wrist. " Oi, women let go of--." Before he could finish she kissed him.

"Oh maybe I could stay."
