Chapter 78:

"Go." I said .

Vanessa gave me a look, I knew she was mad before I could say anything she walked away with her cheeks puffed out.. It wasn't me who snapped at her it was my wolf. He has been so dominant lately.

I walked toward the prisoner as he smirked and crosses his arms looking at me.

"Who are you."

"Zeke." He said simply .

"Where are your people."

"Why are you looking for them?" He asked with a question back. I growled lightly .

"I honestly cannot tell you, I just got changed into this monster form last week."

"You have to remember something , those monster.. They killed someone dear to me and need to pay." I said .

He looked at me and nodded .
"I'll try, but I can't promise nothing ." He said with a sigh as he closed his eyes .

I stood there waiting patiently as his eye brows made a arch and he gasped opening them .
"There coming for me, you can't let them. They will kill me! "

"What did you see " I spoke loudly .

"There was a small river, flowers.. A empty church." He rubbed his head.

Jason smirked.
"I know where they are."

"Guards I want you with this prisoner 24/7 don't let anybody in or out except for me." I said walking away.

"Yes Alpha."

I smiled as that felt good.
I walked with Jason and Lark up the stairs, there stood my mother caring for the injured and my sister rambling to her .. She is pretty mad huh..

"Lark I want you to take some men and scout the abandon church tell me if you see anything, Lark I want you to check the flower shop and grave yards."

They nodded and walked off.

I walked over to my mother kissing her cheek and rubbing her stomach. I could hear the babies small heart beat, it was adorable and cute.. I would have to protect this baby with my life. She is going to be my baby sister and human at that.
Just thinking protecting her and Nessa will be a handful.

After my sister walked off with her face bright red I smirked as my mother smacked my head .
"OW." I rubbed my poor head .

"Don't do that to your poor sister, it's bad enough her elf feels certain ways for you. Your just adding on." She said sternly.
Maybe she was right but it was funny seeing my sister like that.
I nodded respecting my mother .

"Any news ?"

"I sent Jason and Lark out to scope the area ." I said to her .

She nodded her head as she was wrapping her patients arm.

"Will you let me speak to him ." She asked without looking at me.

"No, you will stress the baby." I said .

She nodded smiling that fake smile.
"Your right ." She said walking to another patient .

"Mom."

She looked at me.

"I'm only doing this to protect you , our family. Your my mom and it's time I protected you." I said .

She smiled and kissed my cheek.
"Thank you, but I don't need protecting .. That's what got her killed " she whispered to me.

I shut my eyes for a second and when I opened them she already walked away.
My mother is broken.. She wasn't the same woman I grew up around.. Was she gonna be like this her whole life..what if she rejects the baby?

I sighed rubbing my head .

A light punch came to my side as I looked down at Kat, Vanessa's friend .

"Be nice you Vanessa or me and you will be fighting ." She smirked .

I laughed and ruffled her hair as she tried smacking my hand away.
I was bigger and stronger . My wolf was waiting for the Alpha blood.

I walked into the kitchen, there wasn't much food. I would have to get someone to go get food but make sure they have a bunch of people to go..
These days we can't be to carful.

Fred and Donny came walking in as they stopped .
"Finished training the newbies."

"Thanks guys." I said grabbing some food .

"Need anything ."

"I doubt you two would go shopping for me?" I said with a raised eyebrow .

"Why not ." Donny smile grabbing his coat off the rack.

"Fred be on alert , please mind link me if anything ."

"You got it dude " he said as he walked off with Donny .

I swear they might be older than me but they act like there my age .
I laughed to my self as Vanessa walked into the kitchen. She sat down an eyed me.

"What " I said annoyed .

"I'm going with you." She said .

I took a bite of my food raising my eye brows.
"Are you crazy."

"I'm not a kid, nor do I have to ask to go. I was just telling you." She said taking my god and taking a bite .

"It's not safe-

"And." She said .

I like how my little sister was trying to act all tough, especially when she is so tiny .

"And, it's dangerous . I can't keep and eye on you and my pack."

"I'm not asking you too." She said chewing .

"Stop trying to act tough, it's not attractive." I said winking at her .

She coughed choking on her food as I chuckled.
"You can go, just stay next to me at all times. Don't be stupid ."

She rolled her eyes and jumped down from her seat with a smile .
"You got it Alpha boss." She winked .

I rolled my eyes as the team was waiting outside for us.
I headed out there as it was raining . Great .
It's dark, which means they would be out to play.

"Sara, Amy. Watch over my mom."

They nodded .
They kissed there mates as Vanessa was stretching .

"Ready to find Vampires." She asked me.

I smiled down at her .
"Just stay by my hip."

"Like a puppy." She said walking off with the other's.

"Like my mate." I whispered walking off.
