Beep, Beep, Beep!

I groaned and rolled over, snuggling more into the comfortable sheets that have been wrapped around me.

Beep, Beep, Beep!

I tried to ignore the sounds from my alarm clock, pulling a pillow over my head.

Beep, Beep-

"EMMA! IF THAT ALARM CLOCK BEEPS ONE MORE GOD DAMN TIME-"

I groaned, sitting up, blindly standing up and finding my way to the alarm clock. I fumbled with the machine as i turned it off, slightly opening my eyes to peek. When the sunlight reached my eyes, if quickly shut them tight and continued to walk towards the door. I opened my eyes fully, and wiped the gunk from my eyes. I yawned and stripped out of my pajamas, stepping into the shower.

* * * * *

After the shower, I changed into a plain light blue short-sleeved shirt and dark-washed skinny jeans. I pulled a black hoodie that read: 'My Chemical Romace' over my shirt and attempted to comb through my hair. I didn't like the band- (No offense to the fans) but my friend from my last school, Mia, had dragged me to the concert, and bought my this jacket.

I ran downstairs and grabbed an apple off of the table. I tossed my backpack over my shoulder, and said good-bye to my mom. I hopped in my car and drove off to school.

* * * * *

My classes zipped by and before I knew it, it was lunch. I grabbed my lunch box and ran to my seat. Before Michael and Corrine showed up, I would normally look around the lunch room to see what's new.  The tables were parted as always, the nerds, or the unpopular kids on the outer rim of the room, and the most popular kids sitting at the middle tables. I even knew some kids whose high-school goals were to sit in the middle of the lunchroom! yeah, like that'd ever happen, I thought.

The popular kids never and when I say never, I mean NEVER let anyone sit in the middle table with them unless everyone at the tables agrees. Its like they choose where we sit! I saw Travis sit his lunch down and then walk outside- probably towards the bathrooms. I scarf down my lunch, and head outside. I walk to the maple tree right outside of school, normally where i finish my homework or read whenever I can.

I walk over to the tree and sit down, my back against the rough wood on the tree.

I grab my book- Allegiant, from my backpack and continue to read it. Halfway through my first page I heard someone clear their throat. I gulped hard while staring up at the human that had cleared their throat. As if it fate was reading my mind, I saw Big-Boy-Joe; The last person I wanted to see today.He cracked his knuckles, and stepped asked, showing me his two other friends or as I say, 'sidekicks'. Their names were Gabe and Max. They were brothers who had lost their parents in a car crash just last year. With that, they turned all of their anger into violence, usually brought up to me. I shuddered, and got up to my feet. I ran as hard as i could, my heart pounding through my chest, all the way back to my car. Just as i stepped on the parking lot's pavement, my shirt was grabbed and i was thrown onto the road.

"Running away from me now, aren't we." Joe coldly laughed. "That's new."

Max and Gabe snicker from behind him. He thrusted his fist backwards before knocking it square into my nose. My nose was bleeding like crazy.

"That was for running away."

He punched me in the gut. I doubled over in pain as he grabbed my shirt again.

"That was for telling on me."

He kicked me in my shins as hard as he could, and I swear I heard something crack.

"Bah!" I screamed in pain.

"That one. That one was for fun." He smiled, clearly bloodthirsty.

I grunted, coughing up blood and slithered onto the grass. He and his gang marched up to the school as if nothing happened. I heard the bell ring, but I couldn't get up to head to class. Instead I just lay there, in pain, trying to stop the bleeding.

I heard the leaves behind me crunch under someones feet as I clenched, preparing for another hit.

"Skipping class, are we?" A voice all-to-familiar said.

Oh no, I thought. He can't see me like this!

I rolled over, this way so he could see me, hunched over in pain.

"Oh my- Oh My F***ing god! Emma!" Travis stood there shocked, before he ran up to my side to help me. "What happened?" He frantically rubbed his face, in utter shock.

"I just...I just.." I bursted into tears. I tried to stop but the tears kept on flowing, and they continued to flow even when Travis comforted me, telling me that everything was going to be alright.

He carried me to the nurse, bridal style, and layer me down on the paper sheets dividing my from the soft cushion. Then black spots pricked at my vision, and soon enough, I was blinded- I Couldn't see anything. I then fell unconscious.
