Why?

Why do we not know what we want to do,
What do we even want?
Why are these questions so hard
for some people,
yet easy for others?
Some of us are confused,
Some of us just want to understand the world around them.
Yet. The world is the most unrelentingly confusing place.
How can it be so clear to some people,
what their future should be or look like.
For me I have no clue what I want to do.
That age old question
what do you want to do when you grow up?
still ringing in my head,
whenever I ask myself this question I wonder....
What do I want in life what is my end goal.
The only thing I know to be true is that I like helping people.
I want to understand what I want.
Yet i'm confused why I don't understand myself.
