An angel walks beside you and gently takes your hand
You're very much at peace now
You need to understand
The lord has looked upon you to be a guiding light
Don't fret he says, be rest assured
You're well within my sight
I'll watch you every day and night
I'll keep you safe and sound
And when you try to speak and can't
I'll always be around
The memories that you have will fade
But still you'll know its true
The people that surround your bed
