Graduation

chapter one- graduation

josh POV

I walk into the the lobby in my cap and gown. I can't believe this day is finally here. i've been a warrior for the past four years of my life. unless you count middle school. then you could say seven. I walk into the big crowd of people. i am definately gonna miss this place. I see my friend standing in the corner talking to his girlfriend Vanessa.

"Hey." i say.

"Hey man!" he yells over everyone.

"wheres Katie?" i yell.

"What?" he asks, motioning that he couldnt hear me.

"wheres" i feel a tap on my shoulder.

 i turn around to see her standing there in her cap and gown. she looks so pretty. her big brown eyes and those dark eyelashes of hers would make any guy fall instanly in love with her. Her light brown hair, falling over her shoulders in soft curls.

"hey!' she yells wrapping her arms aound me. she smells so good, like Vinilla.

I hug her back and she lets go. she says something but i didnt hear her.

"what?" i yell. she rolls her eyes and grabs my hand, pulling me through the crowd and through the double doors into a hallway.

"wow. it's so loud in there." she says motioning toward the other side of the door.

"yeah, i know right." i say laughing.

"so...." she says. shes playing with her braclet. she only does that when she nervous.

"so what?" i ask

a man walks into the hallway. its Mr jenner. "come on guys. the ceremony is starting." he says.

we walk into the auditorium and take a seat in the audience. my parents are proudly seated on the bleachers. my dad is wearing a blue button up shirt and Khakis and my mom is wearing a white dress and a necklace. I  turn and see my sister sticking her toungue out at me, then i turn around.

A man walks onto the stage. his footsteps are the loudest thing in the room  Clop clop clop.

"Hello students and proud parents! I am so excited to present to you the senior class of 2003!"

All the seniors stand up and cheers flood the room.

"alright alright." the man says. we all sit back down. The speech goes on for a while

"will Braden Moore, Braden Lee, Bryson Brooks." the group walked to the stage and up the steps, once they got on stage they faced the crowd and had there pictures taken. They got handed a diploma, the crowd cheered and they walked off stage.

Over a period of 10 minutes the rest of the senior class got called on stage.

"Josh Masterson, Katie Mercer, Logan Mullens."

I look out over the crowd as i walk onto the stage, Katie right behind me and Logan behind her. We walk up to our priciple as he moves the tassle from one side of our caps to the other, indicating that we are now graduated. We each step forward and smile for the cameras of all the pruod parents and get handed our diplomas. we Continue across the stage as the next few people walk up to take our now empty spots. we walk off the stage and join the others.

"Katie!" i whisper beside me. looking at her beautiful brown eyes.

"yeah?" she asks looking back at me.

"I would now like everyone back onstage." the principle says into the microphone. I look back at Katie but shes already a few people in front of me. I walk up on stage and look out over the crowd of about a thousand. Wow!
