The Date

It's been a month since the "funeral" for Constance, and as for the pack it was just me, Kayla, and Sin. I was walking to the Auditorium after school to help make and paint the set, when someone came up behind me and poked me in the side. I immediately flung myself into the lockers, Hunter started laughing, his chocolate brown eyes bright with laughter. I smacked him and said "I told you not to do that!" he smiled and pinned me against the wall, he got close to my face and said "whatcha gonna do about it?" I smiled and wrapped my arms around his neck, we've been going out for a week and I was pretty happy with him, I kissed him and said "come on before the whore patrol comes and gets us." he laughed and grabbed my hand, we were still a bit away from the auditorium when I jumped on his back for a piggy back ride. "hey I was thinking that since we've been dating for a week now right?" he asked, I put my head on his shoulder and said "yeah....." he let me down and faced me. "how about you come meet my parents for dinner tonight?" he asked, I smiled and said "I'd love too, pick me up around eight?" he nodded and we went in.

Me and Sin were painting the set, we started painting random symbols on the wall, Nikie bumped into me on purpose getting paint on my clothes. "they look better like that." she said as she smirked, Hunter saw and walked over to me and asked "you ok?" he put his arm around me. "yeah just fine, they aren't ruined, they're my painting clothes anyways." I said laughing, Nickie turned red her plan clearly back firing. We went back to painting, Me, Sin, and Hunter had kind of a paint fight, getting paint in our hair and on our faces, when we got done I ended up with a rainbow on my face. When I got home I went up to the bathroom and I looked in the mirror, I looked at the rainbow and said to myself "Thanks Sin." I laughed, I turned the shower on letting the water heat up and walked to my room to pick out an outfit for tonight's date. I picked out a beige dress with lace sleeves and a small brown belt, I went back to the bathroom and stepped in the shower. I watched all the paint wash down the drain, I smiles thinking about today, it was a good day I mean the guy I like asked me to meet his parents and kissed me in front of a girl who tried to get in his pants making her almost fall off the stage, Hunter made me smile so easily and always said the right things to get my mind off of whatever is troubling me. I got out of the shower paint free, and dried my hair but left it damp and got dressed. I went back to the bathroom and made my hair wavy a little more than it already was by adding little curls to it. I pulled out my little brown boots that go up to my knees, I grabbed my purse that matches the outfit, it was small enough to carry a few important items and my phone, I liked it because it was really all I needed. My phone started ringing, and played Clarity, which was Hunter's ringtone. "hey." I said with a smile, I could hear him smiling as he said "Hey babe, I'm almost there." I laughed and said "ok I'll be outside." I walked down the stairs as he pulled up and said "Here!" I rolled my eyes and hung up as I walked out the door and locked it behind me. He got out of his car and walked to me, he looked at me and said "Wow.... you look beautiful." I laughed and tucked my hair behind my ear and said "what I don't look beautiful all the time?" I tilted my head adding a little laugh. "You're always beautiful." He said wrapping his arms around me, I smiled and kissed him.

"So where are we going?" I asked looking at him as he drove, he smiled and said "Its a surprise." I looked at him and raised my eyebrow, we pulled into a fancy restaurant in town called Little Italy. "glad I wore a dress." I said, he laughed sweetly and said "I'm glad you did, you don't really dress up for school." I laughed and said "I already have Anthony hitting on me, the last thing I need is him trying to stick his hand my skirt." I winked at him as he laughed and got out of the car, he walked around to my door and opened it for me. "Oh how chivalrous of you." I said as he took my hand helping me out, he blushed a little and said "my parents taught me to respect the old ways." I wondered what he meant by 'old ways'. We walked in and the hostess asked "name?" Hunter looked more sophisticated than I realized as he said "Argent." she looked at the chart and said "right this way." I locked my arm in his as we walked to the table, a man was laughing with a woman, Hunter looked at me and said quietly to me "Don't worry we aren't as sophisticated as we appear." he kissed the top of my head and pulled out my chair, then pushed it in when I sat down. "Hunter the way you described her doesn't begin to capture her true beauty." said the woman, I blushed and said "thank you Mrs. Argent." she smiled and said "please call me Helen." I nodded and said "if its them same to you I'd rather call you Mrs. Argent." she laughed and nodded "So polite, Son we've already ordered for the table," said Mr. Argent, he looked at me and continued "hope you like chicken alfredo." Hunter said "Senna is a vegetarian." he lied because he's seen me scarf down a double bacon cheeseburger, but I told him in the car that I was nervous and wasn't really hungry. "Oh well Waiter! Change one of the alfredos to a garden salad." said Mr. Argent smiled and the waiter asked "what kind if dressing on that?" I looked at him and said "Ranch please." he nodded and disappeared into the kitchen.
