It was the day before the boys gig and Luke was stressing out. I sat down on his bed and watched as he paced back and forth across his bedroom. He was adamant that something was going to go wrong whilst they were performing. I tried to assure him that everything would be fine as him and the boys had practiced everyday over the past week.

But he continued to ramble on, stating every bad thing that could possibly happen. These bad things varied from 'losing guitar picks' to 'falling off stage and breaking neck'. I couldn't help but laugh at the state he was in. It was ridiculous.

He stood still and looked at me sadly. "Lizzy, this isn't funny." He said.

I stopped laughing once I realised how serious he was being. He rocked back and forth on his heels, his eyes staring down at his vans. I instantly felt bad for teasing him. It was his first proper gig after all; he was bound to be nervous. I knew I would be if I were in his position.

I lent forward and poked his chest playfully, hoping for him to crack a smile. Much to my pleasure, he did just that. He looked up and began to giggle. I continued to prod his chest knowing he was really ticklish as I liked seeing him happy, rather than sad.

After many giggles escaped his mouth, he wrapped his hand around my wrist and pushed my arm away. His cheeks had warmed up from embarrassment, turning a deep pink. I laughed so much that I fell back on to his bed with pains in my sides. Luke pouted, not liking that I was laughing at him, but after a minute or two he joined in so I was no longer laughing at him, but with him.

"We should go to sleep now, I'm pretty tired." Luke said 15 minutes later. Both of us had calmed down now, and were lying on the floor. I agreed, knowing the two of us had a long day ahead.

I rolled over so my head was resting against my pillow and mumbled a "Night Luke" before closing my eyes and drifting into a deep sleep.

Luke and I woke at mid-day. We'd slept longer than intended, but luckily still had plenty of time to get ready and be at Michael's by 2pm.

"All Time Low shirt or Nirvana shirt?" Luke questioned, holding two shirts up on either side of him. The Nirvana one was a favorite of his and he wore it all the time. The ATL one was one he used to wear to school.

I instantly shook my head, pushing the ATL one out of his hands. "Nirvana." I said, definitely.

Luke groaned whilst bending down to pick up the ATL shirt I had just knocked out of his hand. He shook it so there was no creases in it, before putting it back in the cupboard. "It's an awesome shirt." He mumbled to himself.

I had to disagree. "Your mum said the same thing when she bought it." I laughed.

"Hey! Don't you diss ATL." Although he was acting serious, I could tell he was dying to tell laugh, and after a minute of seriousness, he did just that.

It took us another hour to get completely ready. At 1:30pm, the only thing left to do was to put Luke's guitar into the back of my car. Luckily, my boot was bigger than many others and all the instruments could fit into it.

Once the instruments were in the boot, we began out journey to Michael's. His house was only 5 minutes down the road from Luke's. We listened to a couple of songs on the radio, before we arrived. On arrival, Luke and I both got out and made our way inside. Michael had texted Luke an hour ago, saying both his parents were at work, and not to bother knocking.

The first thing we heard as we got inside was shouting from upstairs. We made our way to the noise to see what was going on.

"Please pass my towel!" Calum begged. Only his head was visible, as his body was hidden by the bathroom door. Michael stood a few feet away with a camera in his hands.

He was laughing hard. "If you want it, get it yourself."

I looked down and saw that Calum's towel was on the floor. Luke burst out laughing and stood behind the camera with Michael. Calum looked at me with pleading puppy dog eyes. I couldn't help myself as I stifled a laugh as I gave in and grabbed his towel.

"Aw Lizzy, you're no fun." Michael pouted. I looked from him to Calum, a clear smirk on my face.

I threw the towel down the stairs before grinning deviously. "I can be fun." I retorted.

Calum groaned once again before giving in and wondering out of the bathroom completely naked. He covered himself with his hands and ran down the stairs so the camera didn't capture too much. He then went straight to Michael's room to get ready.

Michael continued to laugh loudly. "I take back what I said; his face was priceless!"

I chuckled. "Where's Ash?"

"Warming up in my parents room," Michael explained. "Can I have your keys? So me and Luke can start to put instruments in the boot."

I nodded and chucked my keys over to him. They both disappeared downstairs whilst I stood alone on the landing. Calum was still getting dressed so I decided to go and find Ash. I had no idea which room was Michael's parents, so I just knocked on the first room I saw.

Ashton didn't answer, but I did hear faint singing from behind the door. I slowly and quietly opened it, Ash coming into view immediately. He didn't realise I was standing behind him as his back was to the door, so continued to sing. The song he was singing wasn't a song as much, but just a few notes here and there, coming together to create a perfect melody. He sounded amazing.

I clapped once he finished. "That sounded great!"

He stood up immediately, placing his hand on his chest, obviously receiving a shock. "Christ Elizabeth, I nearly died."

"Elizabeth?" I asked. No one ever called me by my first name - only Luke when he wanted something. I wasn't even sure how he knew it was my full name, most people assumed I was just 'Lizzy'.

"Yeah, I like it," Ash shrugged. "That is your full name, right?"

I giggled, nodding to confirm his query.

He smiles. "Good, it suits you."

I felt my cheeks start to warm up. Having always hated my full name, I told everyone to call me Lizzy. However when Ash said it, I didn't cringe like I normally did, instead I wanted him to say it again.

Ash came closer and looked me up and down. "You know what I just realised?"

"What?" I asked, quite scared to hear what he was about to say.

But I never found out. Luke barged into the room, grasped my wrist and began to drag my outside to the car. I rolled my eyes, and allowed him to drag me. Climbing into the drivers seat, I saw all the boys faces, full of excitement and nerves. "Are you ready?"

They all cheered. "Let's do this!"
