Annabelle ran from get father as he chased her. Annabelle ran as fast as she could, but no matter how fast she ran, her tiny legs could not run fast enough. Annabelle's father caught up with her. He grasped her tiny wrist and pulled her roughly. "Come along, Annabelle." his father slurred. The smell of alchahol hit Annabelle. She knew that he was drunk, once again. This wasn't the first time she had to run away from her father. There were many times before. Her father was a drunk, and when he got this way, he hurt Annabelle.
Annabelle's father dragged her to their back yard as Annabelle screamed in fear and tried to pulled away. But she was no match compared to his strength...and something was telling Annabelle that this was the end.
Annabelle's father came to the cellar doors. He kept holding on tight to Annabelle's wrist. He opened both of the cellar doors with his free hand. Specks of dust flew up in the air. Annabelle felt the cold air from the doors hit her face. She was frightened at this moment. "You sleep here tonight." her father said. Annabelle began crying. "Shut up!" the agressive man yelled. Annabelle didn't listen. And kept on crying. Annabelle's father smacked her across her face. He smacked her so hard that she flew down to the cellar. Her body hit the cold, hard, concrete floor. Annabelle whimpered in pain as soon as the pain hit her body. The cellar doors were closed. Annabelle was left alone with nothing but her gold, heart-shaped locked with a picture of her deceased mother in it. Annabelle opened the locket. A small lullaby played from the locket. Annabelle closed her eyes and listened to the song that her mother used to sing to her. Eventually, she fell asleep. This time, she didn't said up. Annabelle was dead. Years of abuse and hunger were finally over. She couldn't take it anymore. But even though Annabelle was gone, the ghost of her, however, was not. And was going to be around for a while. At least until and found happiness.
