it was a normal summers day for Shelby as she was in English class looking out he window she was thinking that she mite go of a walk after school but go to the old part of the town today. "Shelby" Mrs R said to her but she was to into her her thinking that she had no idea what was happening around her, "Shelby. are you even listing? Shelby" Mrs R said a little louder but she was still to into her thoughts to know what was happening, her friend Zoe gave her a nudge to try and get her attention "yes Zoe?" she says like nothing had happened but to her knowledge nothing had "Mrs R was talking to you or trying any way" Zoe said in a sad voice as she continued " you need to focus more Shelby" Shelby just looked at her and said in a forgiving voice "you know how much I try to it just way to hared to" Zoe just smiled in a responds, "Shelby are you listing now?" Mrs R said in a questioning voice "yes Mrs R, in so so sorry I don't know whats happened to me today" Shelby replied in a sorry voice "good, now what happened on page 250?" Mrs R asked Shelby trying to get an answer from her but all she got was a "I'm only up to page 237, sorry" Shelby just looked at the ground "OH I KNEW MISS, PICK ME I KNOW MISS, MISS" Shelby looked up to see Jack the class know-it-all jumping out of his seat to tell me what had happened "OK Jack, tell us what had happened" Mrs R said in a feed-up voice "well, the 'A gang' get to the people hide out and well they did as there master asked then and killed them" Jack said in a sad but happy voice because he got to answer the question, "thank you for that Jack, OK class by next week you need to be up to page 300 and you can just keep re..." Mrs r said as hes get interrupter by the bell " don't move, sit down" she said before everyone way out the door "OK so you all need to read up to page 300 by the end of the week, now you all my leave, bye" Mrs R said waving. Shelby walks to her locker as quickly as possible so she didn't need to stay back in class for daydreaming again. when Shelby got to her locker she felt someone tapping at her shoulder when she looked around it was just Zoe "hey, how'd you get out without Mrs R seeing you?" she asked looking confused"i just ran when she said we could go" Shelby said with a cheeky smile "oh, ok" she said back with an unsure smile "lets just go outside" Shelby said as she stared to walk away "ok" Zoe said slowly following her. when they get to trees out for sit from the teachers can see us because we have a free period after lunch we can go down the street and no one will ever know that not there because the only people that ever knew if they where there or not are there boyfriends witch they where with every class and any other time that they can, the only other person that would know that Shelby and her friend where gone is Jacob the boy that is always sitting under the trees around where they all hang out but he never tells because he always has his head in a book and just doesn't care when he does see that there gone
