Leo, Piper, Jason, Nico and Frank were sitting round the table. It was deathly quiet. Their leaders, Annabeth and Percy, had both fallen (Likely to their deaths) into that dark pit. Coadge Hedge was in his chamber, no one knowed what he was doing.

Nico felt guilty, he was there, he could have saved them. The place was linked with the underworld, then why didn't he had enough power to save them?  He should have helped more, he should have...

Hazel felt just as guilty. She was down there. She had manipulated earth before, why didn't it work right then? She felt so helpless. Some child of Pluto she is...

Frank was just as misareble. He could have flown to the rescue. If he just was a bit sooner. Why didn't his powers work? He could have saved them! He should have...

Jason was looking very sad. He was the one who could control air, right? He controlled aircurrents before... Why didn't it work then? Why? 

Piper looked to the door. She should have noticed the spiderwebs around Annabeths ancle. She should have let Jason carry Annabeth, she was the injured one. 

Leo felt guilty to. He was the builder of the ship that made the cave unstable. If they just went out first, if he just had made an invention to save them. He could have... Some child of Hephaestos he is...

   "Oh Gods, I can't believe the fates are so cruel. Why did Percy even save me? After all what I did." Nico said suddenly, while he banged his head on the table. 

   "What do you mean?" Hazel asked. 

   "I met Percy three years ago." Nico answered, like he started a story. Wide eyes met his.

   "Three years, you said you didn't know him at all before at camp Jupiter." Frank said curious.

   "When he rescued me..." He said. Right now, everyone was giving him weird looks.

   "He rescued you? Why didn't you tell us? How come he rescued you? What had happened?" Were questions that were trown at him.

   "He rescued me multible times. First, my sister and I from a... a... monster, don't know the name anymore. Malticore or something. The monster had kidnapped Annabeth and he went all crazy, you know... They weren't going out back then." He answered.

   "So, being kidnapped was already familiar with them?" Piper said weakely. Nico looked at them. They all seemed interested in their adventures.

   "Not even slightly..." Nico's smile faltered. "After that I pestered him like crazy, I didn't even realise how out he was back then. Thalia was there to, you know. She and him were then already close."

   "Thalia? I knew they knew each other but are they that close?" Jason asked.

   "Yeah, they are like a brother and sister." That was probebly a wrong thing to say. Jason looked very sad at these words.

   "I mean, Percy was a brother to all of us, even when we didn't like him at first." Jason's jealousy backed away.

   "You said he rescued you multible times?" Leo asked, breaking the silence.

   "There was a quest launged to find Artemis and my sister was selected. I knew Percy was going to follow them because it had something to do with Annabeth. They were best friends after all. So I asked Percy to take care of my sister."

   "You asked him to do that?" Everyone know that it was almost impossible to look after another one when you were in a dangerous situation yourself.
