It's the first day of school, and there's a lot more new students than old students. All of the old students moved to the new school that just opened three and half miles away. Since everyone had cars they could drive there, but me, I had to stay at West Front High School. Going to school here is a buzz kill, there is no fun teachers. All the teachers have a blank stare and monotone voices that show no emotion what so ever. I begged my mom to transfer to Pioneer High but she won't let me because she doesn't want to drive me there every morning. Which really sucks because my best friend Mynley moved there and now I only get to see her on the weekends or after school.
As I walk into my first period class I can already see the groups of people, ranging from the popular kids to the geeks. I consider myself apart of the lower class, not a geek but not middle class or popular. I sit down in an open seat next to a geek. As I think to my self about my placement a seems to be popular boy comes and asks me if the seat on the left of me is taken. "No you can sit here if you would like," I respond. He introduces himself , " hi, I'm Juwany, what's your name sweet cheeks?" "Umm I'm Codi, with a C." "Well umm Codi with a C how has your first day been so far?" He asks. I think to myself hhm a smartass I like him already! "oh it's been good I guess and you?" "Mine has been amazing I love this school it's way better than my old one!" "Well just wait it will start to get boring trust me, this is my third year year and I'm a junior and I want to die!" "Well I think this year will be different for you." He winks at me and I give him a weird look, "Juwany, Codi are you two done talking or would you like to share with the class what is so important," Mr.Marsden said. "Sorry Mr.Marsden," both of us said at the same time which was really weird.
At the end of first period I walk out and Juwany follows me to my locker. "May I help you?" "Yeah umm I know we just met but I was wondering if I could have your number?" I look at him with a blank face, a popular kid just asked for my number whaaaattt! As I regain focus again I just see him standing there looking like an eager puppy dog. "Um sure, yeah here." I give him my number and he says thanks and runs off to catch up with his friends. "Hey you, um Codi is it? Yeah stay away from Juwany he's mine!" "Amber calm down he just asked for my number it's not like we are dating or anything." "Oh he asked for your number haha I find that very hard to believe considering you look like that! Just stay away from him okay," she responds with a snarky attitude. "Bye Amber have a nice rest of your day," I smile and continue on my way to my second period.

As I'm walking into school I see Juwany and Amber talking. He looks very frustrated with her, like he doesn't want to talk to her but she keeps throwing herself onto him. Literally. He finally pushed her off and saw me, as we was walking to be Amber throws a small rock at me but it hits him. "What the fuck Amber! Are you trying to kill me or what?" "That rock was supposed to hit Codi not you sorry babe." She says that while twirling her hair. "First off please NEVER call me that again and why would you want to throw a rock at her like seriously how low can you get?" He turns away and walks up to me. "Hey cutie!" He says with a cheeky grin "haha hi Juwany! I see Amber is trying to get with you haha." "Ugh yeah but I don't want to be with her, I already have my eye on someone else." "Oh who give me the details about her!" "Well let's see she was dark long hair that goes to the end of her back, these amazing green eyes that change color with her mood, great smile but will soon be even better after her braces come off, an amazing personality, nice ass and boobs ha I had to put that in there! Sorry." "Dang she sounds really pretty and well of course you had to you're a guy." I respond while laughing. "Codi, do you know who I'm talking about?" "Well you just described this girl in my history class!" "What no I'm not talking about who ever you are talking about." "Then who the hell are you talking about Juwany?" "You..." I just stare at him for a good two minutes with my mouth open and my cheeks as red as a tomato. "Me?" I asked, very surprised. "Yes you Codi!" "O-oh dang umm this is a lot to take in right now, what about Amber?" "What about her, I don't care what she thinks I don't like her anyway I like you." "Juwany can we talk about this tomorrow or later this evening? We can meet up somewhere or something. I just need to take this all in." I leave with a surprised expression on my face what am I doing? You are leaving him there alone, when he just said he likes you! Are you crazy!
