Val couldn't sleep all night. She spent the night tossing and turning in bed.

Axl appeared infront of her as soon as she closed her eyes even for the briefest moments. She wasn't used to any of this. It took Val a while to realize that she was obsessed with him. And not in a healthy way.

What was this supposed to mean? She couldn't put a finger on it. All she knew was that her life was suddenly all messed up, even more than it already was. She was going to spend a day with Axl Rose and even thinking about that now made her feel all hot and bothered.

She didn't know how she would respond when she finally had to address him for who he was. Afterall, she couldn't altogether ignore that fact. Guns N' Roses...

*Valerie's POV*

I looked at myself in my full-length mirror. Hmm, not bad. I guess.

How the hell do girls usually dress up for being a tour guide? I had no idea. I was freaking out more than usual and this surely wasn't a good sign. Glancing at my watch, I noticed that it was already 9:00 a.m. This meant that Axl would be picking me up any time. My heart sped up immediately. I felt like a trapped animal but the funny thing was – I liked the feeling. I liked it all too much. I was feeling excited for a.....man. Geez, Val, you make yourself sound like a lesbian.

I quickly took out some pretzels from the refrigerator and began to munch on them. I had always been way too fond of pretzels. Infact, I loved breakfast. You could give me any kind of breakfast and I can live off of it forever. After eating, I looked around to see the mess that my house was in. Fuck.

I went ahead to tidy up the couch and also discarded all the empty paint pots in the trashcan. I am usually a clean person, however, the fact that I am also an artist makes cleanliness an issue sometimes. Within twenty minutes, I ended up cleaning my entire home. I'm on fire. And that instantly reminded me of the song itself by Bruce Springsteen.

Finally, I sit down to think about the places I'll be taking him with me today. Hyde Park is definitely a must.

And then there are so many nice places I want to show him where we can get some real good food. We will be eating together afterall. Food....like a date? I gulp. This is not what I had originally thought. I still haven't come to terms with the fact that he has seen me in next to nothing. That makes me chuckle to myself, quietly.

Lost in thoughts, I actually do lose track of time. The door is now banging, loudly.

Holy fuck! Time to roll, Val.

Val swiftly got off of the sofa and opened the door to find Axl standing in his gorgeous ripped denim pants and plain white shirt. His hair was silky and open. She almost went ahead to touch it but then harshly restrained herself. She also missed the beautiful flowers he held in his hands. They were bright red. And Valerie was speechless.

"Mornin', I got these for you. Hope you like roses." Axl's eyes had softened as he saw the joyous look on her face.

"They are really very pretty. Thank you, Axl. And please come in, I have to grab my purse." Val said and turned to go inside to retrieve her handbag, while stopping midway to place the flowers securely in a vase.

Axl sat on her couch in the living room. Her house really was something. Not only was it cozy but it was a place that fit her. It looked like it was Val's home. He loved that the entire house smelled of flowers and paint. He wondered about the paint though and then he looked around to see paintings. Many of them.
