KY's POV
I left from the roof after Kari left. I still call her Kari because that's the name I've always known her as. As I was walking back to the dojo I was thinking about what she said. I was not acting like the darkness and I would never. The only reason I'm working with him is cause he promised I would have my revenge on my cousin. Then I started feeling guilt about spying on her. At first getting close to her was just an order the darkness gave me but after that day at the lake I've started feeling what I've felt before she left. Like there might be something else inside me then just evil. I went to see the darkness. There he was sitting in a stone like chair.
" Ky. Did you see Kari?"
" Yes, Darkness."
" What did she say?"
" She is hurt. Because of all we are putting her through."
" What are you saying?"
" I'm saying I don't want to be apart of this anymore. If it will hurt her I don't want any part in it."
" Don't tell me your actually falling for her."
" No. I just don't want to do this anymore."
" You don't and you will be sorry." His eyes glowed green. I left and went to my room. ~~~ The next morning I got up and went to the training area. I was a little angry but mostly I was distracted thinking about Kate and everything that was happening. I was confused about how I felt and how mad she will be if she found out what darkness is doing. All I know is I don't want to hurt her anymore. Than the darkness came in.
" Ky, What are you doing?"
" Training."
" Why aren't you watching my daughter?"
" Because I'm not a babysitter. Ok. I didn't come here five years ago to watch over her. You promised me revenge. Now where is it?" I was getting mad and my voice was rising.
" You will have it."
" When? It's been five years. I'm starting to believe you can't give me revenge."
" Don't ever question me." He yelled. I then walked out the door and headed to the old tree house.
Jack's POV
I woke up and got dressed. I went over to a table where my laptop was sitting. I opened it and checked the calendar. Nothing was scheduled for today. The tournament got pushed back a day because one of the teams had a problem. I wondered if I was going to just hang with the guys or if I'm going to spend more time with Kate. Then I heard a knock on my door. My room mate got up and went to the door. He said something in a different language to the girl who was in the door way. Him and I don't really talk but I guessed that was the girl on his team because she spoke to him then they left. I went over to my bed then there was another knock I yelled come in. It was Kim.
" Hey." She said.
" Hi." I said.
" How are you?"
" Good. Why are you here?"
" Can't old friends just hang out?"
" I know you better than that."
" Your right." She walks slowly around the room looking at stuff then stops at my desk. She picks up a little flower petal.
" Again what do you need?"
" You kept it. The cherry blossom that I gave you when we say goodbye."
" Yeah. Why wouldn't I?"
" You seemed pretty attached to that girl."
" Her names Kate. And of course she's the one I fell for after you left."
" Yes. Why didn't you tell me about her?"
" We haven't talked in months."
" True. But I would have like to know how this girl deceived you, almost killed you, and locked you away than you fell for her."
" How did you know all that?"
" How I know doesn't matter. But seeing that you kept this and the bracelet on your wrist from when you lost your memory means that you still feel something."
" That was a long time ago."
" Than why did you keep all this?"
"

I...I..."
" Exactly." The door opened and Kim ran up and kissed me.
