I looked at the mirror at my vanity room at the mansion of de la Fuegaz. The mirror shows a lonely princess from the 18th century monarchy here in Italia. My name is Princess Aquisha Victoria Marquette de la Fuegaz. My father is currently the 3rd king of the Kingdom of Italia.

Currently, I am the third princess of the 8th children my mother Queen Ysabella Regina Montornito de la Fuegaz – my mother is the 2nd Queen of the Kingdom of Italia. There are five daughters and three sons that the royal family has.

I am bound to marry the duke of Capria Duke Briseo Heraldo y Gonzales that has Spanish decent. Though, I am only on 16... my father wanted me to marry already for the sake of diplomacy between the two regions.

La vita è ingiusta, oh mio dio, life is so unfair, oh my goodness! How could this happen to me, all I wanted is that I find my true love... not the royalty will dictate to me. Thinking about marrying the man I do not love makes me wanna melt myself in agony.

I heard a soft knock on my door.

The maid went to the door and quietly returned after seeing who it is.

"Signora, it is the 2nd Prince of Italia, Prince Emmanuelle IV, will I let him come in?" she said in a respectful tone.

I nodded and after a few second my brother already came. Our names are very very long so I asked my maids to just tell the first name and let them in. So it may be very convenient.

"Bella, mia sorella. Very beautiful, my sister! Are you ready for the ball tonight?" he said after he hugged me for a few seconds. He is very loving to his sisters. But, not so much with the ladies that is not part of the family. Emmanuelle tends to shoo them away, but if it is an important guest he tries not to be very cold to them.

"Thank you, Emmanuelle. Is the others ready for the ball?" I asked him.

He laughed a bit and then replied, "Messa a fuoco, Aquisha! Focus on getting yourself pampered! I know that you're not well with the crowd but try to boost your confidence before worrying about the others? Inteso?" he said.

I understand his sentiment that I am quite a bit of a wallflower but I am not that shy when it comes to parties. Also, while it's true that I do not have much confidence socializing, I always give my best to entertain the people. Just some socializes, not like the socialite people.

"Inteso. I understand. When will be this finish, nonna?" I politely asked the old maid that was doing my shoes.

I call her grandmother, because she's very close to me. She even treated me as a real daughter than my very own mother. Mother – the Queen was always busy doing royalty works overseas that she doesn't have the time to take care of us. She's very workaholic to the point that she rarely comes home to our regno.
