Sweeter Kiss

CATHY'S POV

"How come that I didn't know that you were dating one of the hottest member of Exo?!"

My ears nearly go bleed. I can't explain how her face got turned out right now. She looks happy, excited, mad or... I don't know. Tsk. This best friend of mine.

I just stared at her.

"Why didn't you tell me?!" She asked with widening eyes. "You have Kai-So-Gorgeous as your boyfriend, and you didn't tell me anything?! How dare you?! I am your best friend, you know my secrets, I know your secrets---or so I thought! How could---"

I opened my mouth."Don't be so exag---"

"But I'm so happy for you!" She shrieked. I got shocked by her sudden changes of moods. She then held my hands. "You're so lucky! You have an unlimited access for his lips!"

I just rolled my eyes at her. When am I going to get used to at my best friend?

"Don't be too exaggerating, it was just an act. He just claimed me as her girlfriend last night so that he could beat the hell out of Eric." I said. It's true.

"WHAT?!" She shouted.

"Lower your voice, will you? My ear drums might get shattered."

"I'm so, so, so disappointed. I thought it was true." She said.

"Well, it's not."

"But wait, the two of you ran, right? Where did you went?" She curiously asked. Suddenly, her eyes got wider. "Oh my ghad, don't tell me---"

I explained everything to her before she could react.

She kept saying that she was disappointed.

We are now at the kitchen preparing lunch. While mixing the ingredients, I can't help but to smile.

What happened last night was still fresh on my mind.

*Flashback*

After we opened our problems to each other, I turned to my left side again.

Minutes had passed, again.

"Hey, I can't sleep."

I was shocked when we said it in chorus.

"Why?" We said again in chorus. I smiled.

"I don't know." I answered.

"I don't know neither." He said.

Seconds has passed after that.

Then he spoke.

"I'm Kim Jong In." He said. I stayed silent because of his sudden late introduction of himself.

"Please look at me." He sounds pleading. But I didn't.

He suddenly tapped my shoulder. I felt something weird because of his touch, so I faced him. I felt stung.

"Thank you." He started. "Thank you for making me feel better."

I just stared at him.

"I'm Kim Jong In." He repeated. "Kai, for short." He then reached out his hand. I just looked at it for maybe seven seconds. I lifted my right hand and accepted his hand.

"Cathy Song." Then we both smiled at each other.

*End Of Flashback*

"Are you trying to invent a new dish? Chocolate Macaroni, seriously?"
