The Goodbye Kiss

CATHY'S POV

"What the hell are you doing here?" I said when we finished the photoshoot. We are all alone here at the photo studio, so I took the chance to scold him.

"Your mother contacted me." He answered.

"And you agreed?!"

"What can I do? I thought it will be just a photoshoot---without a brat like you. I didn't even know that you were connected to each other."

"And why the hell didn't you denied that we're together?" I asked.

"She seems...you know, Happy?" He said. "All this time, whenever I go here, I always see her poker faced. But today, she's smiling."

Geez. Enough already.

"Let's go." I just said, and we walked out of the room.

My heart was beating faster right at this moment. Why? Jana just invited Kai for her birthday.

And what's the big deal with it?

Michael Na will be there. And what's with Michael?

He is just the reason for my heart break. For this pain that I am experiencing. And the worst is, he will surely be with Andrea Dee.

His fiançe.

I'll admit it. It would surely break my heart to see him. To see them, together. But no, I should look strong in their eyes. I don't want people to pity me.

I was thinking of a disagreement, but I am sure that people will look for me there. It's my mom's birthday.

And actually, Kai would help me, with this.

Before Kai could answer, I anchored my arm to his.

"He will go." I said to Jana. "You will go, right, My Kai?" I said as I flashed a fake smile on my face while looking at him.

"Yeah." He said.

I have a better idea. Consider this as your payments for your debts!

"That looks better." He said. We are now in a mall, looking for dresses. I should look really pretty good at Jana's birthday party.

"No, it's not. The other one looks better. " I said.

He rolled his eyes at me. It's been a while since we got here, but I can't still find the dress that suits me.

I went to the fitting room and tried a silver spaghetti dress, it have a space on the middle---v-shaped above my navel. It exposed the medium part of my chest. I look really sexy here in this dress.

Then I went out and walked towards his direction.

He only stared at me for maybe thirteen seconds. "Are you fvcking trying to seduce me, brat?"

I can't help but to smile. "Is it my fault that you can't resist my charm?" I said.

He looked downwards. "Go and change clothes. I might do something bad to you. "

"What?" I asked. I didn't heard what he murmured.

"Nothing. We should go now. I'm starving." He said.

After that, I ended up buying seven dresses, four pair of shoes and jewerlies.

"Why do you really need to buy those?" He asked.
