Marionette pov:
"So basically what your saying is," Miss Hindmarsh sighs. "There won't be a school play this year."
"I'm sorry ma'am but we don't have the budget this year and not nearly enough publicity. Maybe your class can make a... Movie to put into a weekly assembly."
All of the class moans as we listen in on the conversation. Adrien looks upset, IM upset.
Not only were we doing Shakespeare, but I love making the outfits and everything. Ok maybe there was a little hope for a Romeo, Juliet thing for me and Adrien...
"Hello? Earth to Mar?!" Alya tugs at one of my ponytails.
"Gah!" I say rubbing my scalp. "You know I hate it when you do that."
She giggles and then starts talking. "But there has to be something we can do. You've been memorising those lines for weeks now and 'you know who' is BOUND for the dashing Romeo..." She winked at me and I shrug her off, smiling at first but then a disappointing gloom sets over me.
I guess I'll just have to find a way.Adrien pov:
When the teacher comes back in and tells the class the news, my disappointment sets solidly.
"Can't we change the date to later or something?" Marianette, the girl behind me tries to get a word in. I decide to join her.
"Yeah, we could definitely consider something to change?" I hear squeals behind me but when I turn around all I ca see is a red faced marianette and Alya rolling her eyes at her. Marianette can be so cute sometimes... But not in that way! Even though we've had some rough patches and let's say 'bonding moments' I've got my heart set on someone amazing. Miraculous.
My lady.Hey guys!
