Chapter 80:

I sat in the tub as the small get together was still happening and the arguing with Jason and Chloe continued.
Is it weird that I'm scared of who I am becoming ..

I shouldn't of brought up the past, that wasn't right . I put Jason in a situation . I was the cause .

I sighed and looked down at my belly . It was getting bigger, I was 4 months today. I sighed and looked over at my necklace hanging on the wall.

A knock came at the door as I didn't bother to move .

I knew who it was .

"What did you say." He said angrily .

"What makes you think I said anything ." I said yawning .

"Don't play around !" He yelled .

I growled loudly .
"Don't disrespect me!" I snapped .
I got out the tub and grabbed my towel.
I wrapped it around me and opened the door .

He was already gone.

I went over and slid my clothes on, sweat pants and a t-shirt. I laid in bed and closed my eyes .

Vanessa POV :

Everybody was still here but my mom disappeared. Where did she go..

I saw an angry Jason come down the stairs, I didn't wanna ask . Chloe was talking with other's as she looked at him and walked away.

Something was up but none of my buisness.

"What you looking at." Vincent said .

"Nothing." I said smacking his chest .

He faked hurt as I laughed rolling my eyes .
Me and him have gotten close and I was happy.

"What we gonna do about mom?"

He sighed and shrugged .
"What can we do?" He said .

"Be there for her.. She is gonna change and not care.." I said worried .

"What if she turns her emotions off again." Kat said jumping in the conversation.

I bit my lip looking at Vincent, Kat could be right..

"She wouldn't .." Vincent said a little mad .

"Be right back!" Kat said running away.

I chuckled lightly.

Vincent grabbed something from my hands as I growled lightly.
I tried reaching for it but I'm short and us short girls know the struggle!

"Vincent" I laughed jumping for it .

He couldn't help but laugh at me looking stupid trying to grab my phone from him.

He twirled me as I spun around and landed in his arms as we laughed .
I looked up into his eyes and stopped .
We stared at eachother ..

He leaned in and I let it happen. We kissed for a hot second as the door swung open we backed off eachother as I leaned against his desk, my face red and my fist planted on the desk.

My hair hung infront of my face .

Kat said nothing as my brother cleared his throat.

"Vanessa ! Lana is awake!" She shouted .

My eyes widened as tears fell from my eyes. I glared at my brother as he looked mad but only smiled .

I turned and nodded at Kat as I rushed out the door and down the stairs.

People were in the way as I pushed by them.

Lana laid there talking to Violet as she sniffed the air and looked at me.

"Lana!" I cried and ran to her.

She smiled and caught me in her arms as she held me to her .

"You haven't changed much." She croaked out. Her throat was dry.

"Neither did you." I sniffled .

My mother walked in and smiled.
"Good to see you up. Any pain?" She asked me walking over to us.

"No.. Confused." She said rubbing her head.

"I'm so sᴏʀʀʏ ." I said .

She looked at me and shook her head.
"You couldn't of known the power hiding within you, what I'm confused is why haven't my parents come for us." She said .

"That is interesting ." Violet said checking her out and giving her water .

"Anything happen when I was out ."

I bit my lip.
'Well my dad died.. But we can't find her body, I'm getting along with Vincent , oh and we kissed.' I thought in my head .

"Nothing really.. " I lied .

She nodded slowly eyeing me and said nothing as my mom's eyes saddened as she coughed .
"I have to go clean up" she said and left .

"What?"

"Vikki died.." I said .

She fell silent and hugged me.
"So sorry.." She said .

"No, I'm fine . My mom on the other hand.." I said sighing .

"I wasn't there, I apologize ."

"Wasn't your fault" I said .

"Oh and Vincent is Alpha." I said pulling away from the hug.

"Oh yeah?" She said eating some crackers .

I nodded .

"How is he doing." She asked looking at me.

"Good I guess? We're not arguing . We see eye to eye, so that's good right ?"

She nodded smiling at me.
"That is."

I couldn't bring my self to say anything..

"Plus my uncle trying to steal Vikki's pack.."

"That's horrible ! You do know if her pack does not want them .. They will go rouge." She said to me.

I sighed . I didn't know that.
"Is that bad?"

"They could die by other packs.. " she said to me.

"I hope Vincent wins this.. " I said .

She grabbed my hand and smiled .
"I'm sure he will."

I smiled .

She leaned in for a kiss as I kissed her cheek and looked away blushing.
I couldn't kiss her.. His face kept popping in my head .

"I have to get in touch with my pack." She said to me .

I nodded .

I gave her the phone as she dialed some numbers and talked quietly . I looked out the room at the dark clouds approaching .
God what should I do?
