Chapter Three - I'm a Survivor

~~ Lana's POV ~~

" Carl? " I say lightly, blinking until my eyes adjusted to the light. I see Daryl, holding my hand and I smile.

" It's just me.. Carl is outside.. " Daryl says, flashing a smile but then hiding it once again, like always.

" Can you get him? " I say, raising my voice a little and my eyes widening. Daryl nods and I lay back down, sighing.

" LANA!! " I hear Carl yell, his footsteps rushing into my cell. I smile, hugging him and he.hugs me back. I stand up, continuing to hug him. I Daryl smiling then he winks.

" I missed you.. " I close my eyes, releasing him and I wipe a tear from his face.

" I'm really glad your alive.. and safe.. " Carl hugs me again and I hug him back. I walk out, seeing everyone and I hug them, smiling.

" I'm alright! " I laugh, looking down at my feet.

" I love that adorable little smile! " Glenn says, hugging me again. Glenn is like my brother and Maggie is like my sister. We're all a big family.

" Yeah... " I continue to smile, feeling my cheeks heat up because I'd been smiling to much.

" Carl has a girlfriend??? " Maggie coes, seeing Carl standing beside me.

" You can say that again.. " I say, holding Carl's hand.

" Yeah... " Carl's cheeks start turning red and he looks down, his hat casting a shadow over his face.
