One Summer Away from Home (Inu Fanfiction)

A car was headed to Kyoto with a woman driving, her son on the back seat, and her teenage daughter next to him listening to the song Paper Moon from Soul Eater.

"Kagome, sweetie" said the women. Kagome moved one of the headphones. "look at that cherch right there"

Kagome saw a burned up cherch on the side of the road. It looked like those type of fancy, rich churches. "Rich basterds" she grumbled

"actually it looks like that, but it's really for us people who don't have enough money"

"that's awesome" said Sota, and Kagome just rolled her eyes.

"and guess what else, your father works there" their mother said "he's working on making the windows"

"the winows? That's gatta be hard" Sota said, but Kagome didn't listen to them. She just put back the other headphone. Kagome never listened when it came to her dad. She hated him. He left them, and moved here. Their mom wanted them to go and get together with their old man. But there is no way she is going to talk to that jackass. She would avoid him all she could.

When they got his beach house, Sota was the first to leave the car into his arms. Kagome was second and mom was turning off the car. But she still passed Kagome.

"Kagome!"

Kagome jumped as her brother called her through the window

"what you twerp"

"we're lucky we only brought the Xbox games"

"he has an Xbox?"

"yeap"

Kagome kept walking. He wanted to get on her good side, but boy was he far from her good side a long time ago.

"so how long are you making her stay here?" Asked her 'father'

"oh stop it" said her mom "I'm doing this so you two can get along again"

Kagome walked right passed them, "well you plan sucks"

"Kagome Higurashi!"

"it's true mom, there is no way I will ever get along with him again" with that Kagome went straight to a carnival close to Gen's house(she'll never call him dad again).
